I don't agree with the medivac upgrade change, because medivacs running out of energy is not much of a problem for late game terran. A healing speed increase for medivacs seemed like a fine way to improve the strength of lategame bio, it was just too strong in its current implementation.
I really like the reaper changes. Hopefully they'll be incorporated more into the mid-late game, with less power in the early game. I'd love a revert to BW damage.

I hate reading these thread in general because people always overact and whine before touching the game but I feel like Blizzard is overstepping so they can nerf or buff things they feels may have been nerfed or buff to hard.
Radical step forward, step back to meet the needs.

They just keep tearing out upgrades... almost every patch since WoL beta has involved removing stuff.

It's just David trolling again guys. They already have the game done and balanced but they don't want to show it yet so when HOTS finally is released it feels more fresh and new and people get to experiment more with new stuff.

My thoughts as a terran:
Medivacs: Bad, bad, even with this upgrade, going bio against mech was very difficult in hots, I hope TvT will not become a mech vs mech machup where every game last for 45 minutes... And lategame versus protoss will again be tricky as hell.
Reaper: 50 gas for a unit that as maybe the worst dps in the game, sign me out. The only use I see is to scout, if you don't want to use a scan.
Tank: This buff won't allow to go mech more often, this buff will allow to 1/1/1 all the protoss to death. This will increase my win ratio for sure, but i don't think it's the objective of this patch.
Seeker Missile: Great, finnally a really good cast for a 200 gas unit.
Hellbat: Don't know what to think.
As a terran this patch tells me only one thing: "Cheese bro."

first impression after few games=> reapers useless, hellbat worse vs zealot but better in big fight, HSM pretty good but very very easy to avoid. I feel like terran is nerf ftm.

Has it occurred to anyone else that Oracles are now just fast, anti-light void rays with detection? The two units are incredibly similar without time warp.

Thats a wrong buff to siege tanks. Their problem is mid and LATE game (or?), not early game. This will help only with specific pre-10 minute rushes.
Why did they take away the Medivac buff? It was so cool. It was not needed. They still havent adress the speed boost cost.
Whats up with these change? They started to make good changes, but now they ship a patch that makes no sense and only point that they may lack a vision for the game.

That siege tank change seems scary... but as a lot of others have said, I don't think blizzard has a clue about what direction they want to go with this game anymore at all. the tank as far as I'm concerned is something of an iconic unit, that's always functioned (I know not exactly) the same way, you want increased range, you spend money and time to get that increase, and now that is just completely changed. It's almost as if blizzard has a blatant disregard for what Brood War and SC1 was...
