Early siege tank does not have anything to do with TvT because most players get it at the same time anyways. It is for TvP and to a lesser extent TvZ.

1 great patch this beta, rest all pretty much crap. David and dustin seem to have the wrong idea entirely for how this game should become.

It's not about what P should or should not worry about, really, it's about what they promised and what they didn't deliver then. I can't count now how many times were they spot on with identifying the problem and then providing a wrong solution at teh wrong stage of the game.

Anyways, i LOVE these changes, blizzard always manages to address things in ways no one ever thinks of (maybe a slight exaggeration, but i haven't seen anyone suggest removing siege mode).
Also, Hellbat buff is INSANE. And why are people calling this a nerf...? it is ridiculously buffed ;O

just realized something.
now that vortex is gone, couldnt they like give the mothership a 3.5 speed and acceleration or something, since now super fast vortexes wont be so imba

I'm not really sure this is the case for hots, after thinking about it, the mscore will allow the p to expand off a gate and go into stargate, using gateways and phonex to deal with the T army and the nexus cannon to deal dmg... I'm not sure if this would work, but I wana try it out

Well the new Vortex was useless as it targeted one unit. I Hope the Mothership has a bigger Timewarp radius would only make sense.

I really wish more people would stop the "end of the world" mentality and think more logically about the changes, and wait until trying them out a bit before judging if a match-up is "ruined" or not. And this is coming from a Zerg player who likely has more to worry about than any other race from these changes lol.
Only somewhat "iffy" change is the Reapers, it's hard to judge those sort of changes without playing. No tech lab and free movement speed is something that needs to be tested before judging. About the damage change, let's be honest, it was kind of insane how fast they could ravage a mineral line for how easy they could get in compared to the other races units, so a change in roles is probably for the better of the game. But it's obvious this is only the beginning of more Reaper changes, not only from what was changed but also from what was implied by David in the thoughts.
Remember, it's more important to have a fundamental role for a unit in beta, because the combat statistics can be tweaked with just statistic number changes later on and be brought up to par. That's far better off than Zerg was in WoL, where they are still lacking many fundamentals of other races through the entire lifetime of the game, and had to be overbalanced statistically in certain ways to make up for it.

Zerg has more to worry about now? Uhh no. Protoss does. No MSC detection is horrible. No seige requirement, meaning earlier 1/1/1 timings which are inevitably going to come are going to destroy us.

Stupid Blizzard.... I was really happy to see siege tanks buffed, though it was only entering siege mode without research.
BUT WHY WOULD YOU NERF CADUCEUS REACTOR BLIZZARD..

I am a bio player, so happy to see bio have a chance in late game......the Ignite afterburners is great, but without the added healing power in late game bio will be super fragile....
Us terrans....we cannot be happy for too long.....as soon as we are happy, blizz realizes it and makes us unhappy again.....
