But the problem in the late game is essentialy unadressed. But, well, Terran Players couldn't even get there before. | ||

Siege tank changes will help against zerg all-ins, but I do think their attack damage should be buffed. | ||

The Tank "buff" is a joke, just that. It helps for defense but in a very boring way. Takes decisions and suspense away from the game. The Raven change sound great. Although, will the targeted unit light up red still? Over all, Tanks still suck and so will mech in TvP. I hope they can do better then this, sigh... | ||

2. Give Siege Tanks an upgrade that makes their shells do extra damage to P shields. It won't ruin early game TvP like your stupid removal of research for Siege tech AND it won't affect TvZ or TvT at all, where the siege tank shines. Wake up. Mech is awesome because of the siege tank, the siege tank just sucks massive balls vs P. | ||

Ok so reapers get available earlier but their damage is rediculously bad?? Seems like they might as well remove it from the game again... How can david kim not understand that the only way to make reapers something else than an early game gimmick is to give them an upgrade for LATER in the game.. Just keep them on tech lab, nerf them just a little bit and give them a lategame upgrade on ghost academy for example to give them a use at that phase.. Now they are just nerfed to oblivion again if they can't even beat marines or anything anymore.. Battlehellion change is hard to gauge, much more damage but lower range is hard to gauge. I guess this could make them better against zealots which they face at melee range and are low in number but makes them potentially worse against hydra's and lings for which they'd need more range. Medivac upgrade gone feels silly, I actually think it was alright since it was so hard to get anyway.. But doesn't matter too much. Siege tank change is rediculously stupid. Slightly easier to open mech in TvP but tanks will suck there. At the same time tanks become a fantastic opener in TvZ and TvT now.. I foresee many extremely greedy 3 base openers against zerg with this.. Just open like bomber did today with CC-rax (walloff) - CC and then go quick factory while walling off your front. One or two quick tanks stop any quick pushes.. Strong mech timings only come up as well since hellbats nor tanks hardly require upgrades anymore, blue flame is only good for hellions anyway.. One of the most stupid ways ever, exactly what I feared would happen: useless change for TvP, screws over other matchups a lot by buffing mech too much there. They have this silly idea that mixing all sorts of combinations should be possible, why? I like the distinctive styles of bio and mech and would hate to see matchups where you mix a bit of everything all the time.. Raven change is alright I guess but 5!! seconds waiting time? Makes it too much of a broodlord and siege tank answer only imo. I like the idea of seeker missiles against muta's with the old targeting you could outrun. Protoss changes are alright, free detection of the MsC was too good really. MsC is really dull though now, a bit faster with less damage or something so it would actually enable that harass it's ment for would be great. | ||

I am not sure this patch will change a bit about that. Hydra/raoch/viper ball or usual protoss stuff (+air) are still largely better than pure mech imo. Siege upgrade dont change anything, but let's see how the new hellbat works | ||

I think i'm like 60-4 facing mech. 4 loses, the 60 might be exaggerated but I know I have lost to mech only 4 times, I can name the players who I lost to and why I lost. So easy to beat zvt. | ||
