Yeah I've been getting some pretty big delays to, however at the same time I feel despite the delay it is playable which gives me hope for maybe being able to play on the KR server eventually.

I also have had some spike issues for a few days now. I guess more and more people are invited to join the beta and for that the server is a bit overstretched

Had a couple of insane lag spikes. Ended up losing all my phoenixes against mass mutas thanks to one and then lost the game.

I never get dropped, i just have this insane input delay. So after i click, the command gets executed like 0,5 seconds later, which makes it almost implossible to micro. Not to mention it feels reeeaally shitty... I'm in EU, so i guess it's because of that, but they really should fix this, it's not playable for me.

I got my beta key few days ago. At first i didn't pay much attention to lag, i was thinking it will probably go away. But after few days of "trying" to play i can be sure that the lag is horrible and its completely unplayable, for me at least. Its not my computer or my connection. WoL is working fine but HoTS beta, unplayable for the moment. I am really touchy about input delay, and this amount causes my brain to bleed, hahaha. Hope they know about this issue and they fix it soon.

Seems the Lag spikes/screen tearing is back with the latest patch. Cannot Micro at all as Terran atm with this lag.

do your game freeze from time to time
and when he freeze ends you lost like 7 secs ?

i solved the issue on sound settings...
there is a option
if you disable it
you increase your performance (its written as a tooltip)

after that i never got lag problems

I seem to be getting subtle lag spikes every 20-30 seconds, enough to fuck upmy hotkeys or engagements, so I will play some CS:GO until they fix it :D

I submitted a thread on the official forums, I'll paste it here:

Issue:
Whenever you're in a menu, in chat or even in-game, the game sometimes freezes for 1-3 seconds and speeds up to 'catch up' on those frozen seconds.

This occurs randomly, not just during high performance hits (e.g. 200 vs 200 battles), it happens when droning up for the first minute, and it happens randomly anywhere. It seems completely random.

Troubleshooting:
I've been asking around in the HotS chats and a lot of people are facing this problem.
Some just in the interface and chat, others in-game as well.

I've tried to put graphics on ultra, on high, medium, low.
I've tried to disable all sounds, enable all and enable half (my own preferences).

I've cleaned the hots cache and deleted the variables.txt to get a 'clean' start.

I tried going fullscreen, fullscreen windowed and windowed, no changes.

I enabled FPS(CTRL+ALT+F) and at the beginning of the game it's at ~160 and it does not drop to below 80, even in big battles.

This problem does NOT occur AT ALL in WoL, with the EXACT same settings.
It is a HotS problem and not a set-up problem.

Other info:
I stream with DXTORY+X-split, 720p 60 FPS 3000kbps @ www.twitch.tv/kaluroo
I tried disabling the stream and dxtory alltogether, no luck.

Computer specs:

Everybody should chill, their servers are under huge pressure, they've released huge patch, invited more people and on top of that enabled global play so now tons of people are downloading WOL for all regions, across the globe, to find out that they suck in those 5 placement matches equally in all regions, even more in KR and leave the idea. It will stabilize eventually. OH yeah and beta was not stable for me even without all those conditions on a normal rainy, non patch day, it's a beta it's there to test stuff everybody should just be patient.

Does anyone else experience stutter-step laggs at the moment? I do have that issue for 3 days now (additionally to the spikes and delay). It gets more and more unplayable.

The stutter-step laggs feel like the FPS would drop down to 10-20 for a few seconds, then its allright for a few seconds, then the stutter-step lagg begings again.
Its not the computer, i checked the FPS ingame, while i have those laggs i still have 100+ FPS

i really would like to know how to fix these. i could get used to the spikes and the latency, but this is unplayable

just checked some streams, most of them seem fine. they do have spikes and latency but not those stutter step laggs
