The entire HotS beta is run on Blizzard's personal servers in California, so people in Europe are going to have crazy amounts of lag until it is released and distributed to the other server locations. | ||

I played High Masters in WoL and can't get above diamond in HotS simple because of dropping every 2nd game  | ||

1) rally a cloak banshee then my game freezes aaaaaaand its gone, like 3-4 times 2) do a 3ple drop vs meching player , uses boosters to get passed turrets , NOPE ur drops are all dead cuz of lagspike 3) lets lift that at the last second so he wastes time hitting it , juuuuust kidding and also fuck you too ^__^ 4) countless shitstorm of lagspikes Seriously guys how do i fix this ? | ||

All I did was restore my laptop to factory settings (rebooting), and I just copied the SC2HOTS beta folder from my brother and launched the game from there (not downloading any patches) and so far not sure if it matters but I also haven't joined any chat channels (just incase it screws up again). I'm not sure whether or not it matters if I didn't re-download the patch after restoring/rebooting, I don't think it does though because when I copied the folder before and launched I still got the problem (before restoring to factory settings, therefore I think restoring is the only necessary step and you should be ok if you download the game from scratch etc). hope this works for others to! | ||
