I also have lag, no spikes just a delay between 1000-1500 ms. I live in toronto so eastern NA, I'm assuming the server is with blizz in anaheim but it is still a ridiculous amount of lag compared to WOL where i don't get anymore latency than the built in 200ms or w/e it is.

personally i get rally point delays, whenever i rally anything it takes a little bit for the rally to show up whether its units or workers, the game itself isnt lagging for me but this delay is pretty annoying. I just got the beta, is this like this for everyone?

A lot of people immediately say the delay is because of the game downloading while you play which you might wanna see if that is the case by just opening the launcher and waiting for the game to completely finish downloading. I did that but there is still a ton of delay for me, but finishing the download helps in most cases.

if you close all your chats it might help. I till get lag but if I close the chat boxes some of the random studders go away

The lag used to be ridiculously high (two days ago). Now it's not as bad I feel.

Also in my 5 Placementmatches, everything was fine, just one day later the spikes started and from that point on they stayed

same stuff for me. im from germany and did play with nearly no lag the past 2 weeks. but since they announced the release date and so many ppl got a key due to pre-ordering it lags so much that it is unplayable.

hope theyll give some more servers to it cuz right now i dont wanna play WoL anymore :/

but its still kinda strange because when i watch whiteras stream it seems not to lag for him at all...

As long as it's a server issue I'm perfectly fine. The only thing I would be worried about is the problem being permanent due to local stuff (like increased memory/CUP usage or whatever the fuck). I'm not concerned with anything that doesn't work during the beta, I just want to make sure I'm not gonna need a new computer.

same here it happened the last days, a lot of people play the beta now cause before the pre-order about 800 games was played at the server and if you see now, its at the home page when you log in, there are 2500.

i experienced the same lag spikes! it started 2 days ago. The week before was completly fine! I don´t know what happend! Maybe it has something to do with the pre-order Beta-keys! I guess there are a lot of new players on the server now!

I hope they are going to fix that issure fast!

I haven't had problem either, only 1 game when I was playing against someone in Brazil I had like few lag spikes here and there, today I played against someone in Korea and it worked flawless.

I do encouter these problems too and they are pretty annoying.

I tried to ping the server HotS connects to, and i get 200ms ping.
The server seems to be located in the US (i did a traceroute on it).

I find it very difficult to micro and macro correctly with such ping.
Everything action is delayed and i am having such a hard time handling misclicks that i can't focus on my game plan and transitions anymore.

It's really frustrating. I am thinking of switching back to WoL until this gets better
