I really can't play HotS at all, really tried it for a few days but I feel like I have a 1 second delay. Do they really only have a singler server located in the US? It's just infuriating, I click stim/siege or anything and it doesnt do it for a second or so, I try to split and everything dies, it's just unplayable unfortunately.

Isn't the least they could do provide a server for every single region? why does it have to be NA? so frustrating

its beta.. needless to say each region will eventually be free from lag spikes. They aren't going to spend the money and run servers in every country for a beta...

i'd like to weigh in,
southern north america
about 300 ms lag
speculation: many people are downloading the client now that they flagged people prepurchasing before Dec 18 for beta access

The game plays fine for me until a spike, then I get the "waiting for server". Then I just have to hope nothing important happens in the meantime. Playing from NA

Most of the time its fine (besides the delay), but then oncea while there will be period lasting for a couple of hours where the lag is absolutely terrible as OP mentions.

It's a beta and there's now a huge influx if people joining with digital pre-orders getting beta keys. Lag spikes should be expected.

Might be an IP routing issue have you checked your ping ratios and lost packets? you might just be having huge ping spikes that would be due to a traffic center... like maybe your ip is tracking through a major import zone... i.e. server in Britian or whatever and Germany has 2/3 IP channels direct to britian. Regardless i don't have this issue, and i have a weak CPU, if anything HOTS is lighter on your CPU than WOL in the

I think this is a eurozone issue probably related to IP tracking.

I've never had a lag problem but today every few games it just starts "Stuttering" and everyone in the game is experiencing it. Is it just the servers?

HoTs is just unplayable for some players. For me I live in NA and play on the NA servers and make sure no channels are open. It works fine for me, its lag free but I have had 2 games that BNet dropped me. Its going to happen its beta, I think its just in certain locations since they do not have too many servers for beta at the moment.

Been getting this as well. It is only with certain players. I can go 5 games without this issue then when I get matched against the same person twice in a row it happens both times.

It isn't my connection, as I have a very fast connection, and it isn't me just having a crappy FPS because I play on low at like 150 FPS. It even shows 150 when it was running slow. I checked in WOL and am not having that issue at all in that game. It might be a distance thing because most of the time it happens is against names in Korean, but one guy I asked was from the US so I don't know.

I had no problems with massive lags or spikes until some patch. Now i have HUGE freezes/spikes every 2-3 seconds, its unplayable. Not fps problem, not ms problem. WoL runs perfectly. I have been thinking its server problem, but white-ra plays with zero spikes. Whats that?

Right now for hots, a lot of the games have like 1-2 seconds delay. It's a LOT worse than WOL and I have no idea what it could be. However, when i see streams it's always perfectly smooth. Any known solutions?

i am getting this too, im not sure if its a latency issue or a game issue because my game freezes for a second and then skips. this happens a few times a minute
