Seems like every single terran spams warhound/hellion and goes mech and I haven't seen them yet lose doing that o_O Hmm so... Is this the comeback of the 1 supply roaches? Or maybe I'm just missing something, like something airbourne would probably be a good idea. | ||

Zerg feels infinitely better simply because you don't have to default to roaches or ling/infestor. I like how getting hydras early feels like a long term investment on some level :-) Protoss... is the same? It really feels that way. Paying for a SG and 200 gas for the Oracle actually makes it feel IDENTICAL to the VR other than that it can actually deal some econ damage. It works in the exact same way as getting 2 VR's to take map control and defend against some rushes, except that it doesn't defend with attacking, it defends with cloaking. Tempests... I don't even know... like 4 stimmed marines make a Tempest crumble like tissue paper. | ||

Cons: -Tempests suck. If somehow you can get them in masse by surprise, they're okay, but still worse than carriers by a large margin. In fact, the 1.5 change to carriers was really nice and carriers had almost made it, Tempests are such a large step back. -Warhounds. Marine/warhound pushes are absurdley powerful, and for the cost, warhounds are so good with bio marine heavy armies. As a timing push, it appears to just strengthen terran's strongest time in the game, while doing nothing late-game. Pros: -Oracle. It's not imba, but it's pretty fun to use, and it should really, really, really help PvP. Like this unit alone may actually solve all the rock paper scissor issues. It's also very useful to scout your opponents base with. Entombed is actually only okay compared to it's other abilities, it's a bit pricey and fragile to risk on just entombed. Mothership Core. Recall rocks. Everything else on it is useless as far as I can tell, but ~10 minute pressure timings vs T and Z that you can safely get out of are so good. Seriously, you can go a 2 rangeless collossi pressure, show up, do some damage and leave. Or if the terran was being more aggressive than you thought, just leave and defend. By far the most powerful ability added to toss. -Widow Mines are interesting. They do literally nothing on mineral lines, I got 3x mines dropped on a line, didn't react just to see what would happen, and lost 6 out of 20 probes. Plus reacting is pretty easy. However, they did completely shut down DT harass when coupled with turrets. I think this may be the most interesting unit that will be great to watch in the distant future when people go crazy with them. -UI Changes. They actually are all pretty nice, none of them seem to lower the skill ceiling. The only bad one is an option on by default that makes enemy units unselectable. -Side Note: Was pretty funny to be placed into a league with Stephano, Idra, & Vibe. A gold league. Sure, it's because there is population yet in the ladder, etc, but still funny to be placed in the most brutal gold league ever. | ||
