You should probably go see a doctor if you're feeling tired and shitty all the time. Of course, my definition of tired and shitty may be different than yours. Try sleeping more, and eating better foods.

Shit guys..
I was on a streak of drinking NOTHING but water... It lasted 3 weeks and today I had orange juice.
I also had pizza... sigh... This weekend really fucked up commitment so far.
But I guess now I have a new goal; To last longer and keep a strong mentality =D!

Eat more, sleep more, eliminate stress in your life.
If you've been doing a fairly high volume of work at the gym, cut back some. Classic overreaching if that's the case.

Don't worry about it too much. If you let it get to you then it will affect you more than you want.
Sometimes we lose willpower and cheat; let it be JUST that once instance and get back up on your feet and keep going.

Unless it's like... some really sugary orange juice like Sunny D or something. The not as much (though it's better than pepsi or something).

Update: My weight is hovering arond 195-200, I think my abs are fading though. Unfortunately i hate treadmills/dont run when its 20 degrees outside so my only cardio is random rugby/basketball. My max bench is at 12 reps of 185, which comes out to 266 on a max rep calculator. Will be testing out my actual max bench, max squat, and 40 yard dash time for rugby in the next two days. Started working out legs monday/thursday and upper body on tuesday/thursday. workouts something like this: legs: 4x5 or 8/6/4/2/1 squat 3x12 individual leg press 3x15 calf raises 3x12 leg curls 3x12 leg abductor/adductor Play basketball or something
upperbody 4x5 or 8/6/4/2/1 bench 3x8 DB bench 3x10 incline bench 3x10 decline bench 3x10 military press 3x8 barbell rows 3x10 lat pull down 3x10 preacher curls 3x10 tricep extension
Then i'll usually add in core with 3x12 of back extension/the same thing except to the side to work side of abs/then some ab workout twice a week. Get to play indoor rugby once a week for two hours which is fun and basically 2 hours of sprinting. Diet is shit, but mostly because i have to eat cafeteria food. Usually have a couple bowls of cereal with a glass of OJ, or a donut + glass of OJ if i'm running late lunch is usually a burrito filled with ground beef, shredded chicken, beans, lettuce, and cheese with a glass of 2% milk Dinner is usually either burger (1 or 2 patties) or deli sandwhich (turkey, ham, roast beef, pep, salami) with cheese and lettuce. Chicken breast if they have it that day, soemtimes fries. Also, glass of milk and a grilled chicken caesar salad Then i usually end up going to late night which is a couple pieces of pizza or mini burgers.

Oh its on!
Just got back from the gym, personal trainer destroyed my biceps and triceps, I struggled getting my arms up in the air to take my shirt off when I got home, and ever second trying to shampoo my hair was pain.
I already have a really healthy diet but I have still hit a plateau even with all the exercise, I'm thinking of giving up bread and dairy completely, it sucks because the only fat is on my stomach and a tiny bit my chest, damn you, why won't you go away!

Bread isn't bad if it's whole-grain wheat. That's not the typical wheat bread that everyone thinks of, though. Whole-grain still has the little chunks of grain in it. Most of the wheat bread that is bought in the grocery store is just as processed and worthless as white bread. (Paraphrased from the South Beach Diet book, which is an excellent diet if you have time to prepare the food.)

It is if you have gluten intolerance... lots of people have it to some extent. Leaky gut syndrome...
I try to avoid bread in general. Makes me feel better.

What does eating better carbs do?
If 90% of my carbs are white rice and I switch to the healthier carbs, will I feel better and have more energy or will I lose more fat? This is assuming that my total caloric intake stays the same (about 2500, burning 3000)
|
Complex carbohydrates provide more energy. Healthy carbohydrates would be wheat products (brown rice, wheat bread, wheat pasta). 1/2 cup of brown rice has 1.6 g fiber compared to 1/2 cup of white race has 0.3 g of fiber. I know bodybuilders bulk up on their off season with white rice, potatoes, etc. When they start to cut weight and bodyfat by using "healthy" complex carbohydrates.
I like to take my pre-workout supplement before I workout and then I eat a small bowl of oatmeal. I'm more focused, have more energy, and have more pump (due to the pre-workout) in my exercises. I feel a lot better after I hit the gym. Such a great stress reliever.

I've been way out of what I was suppose to do. I still lift weights though, however for some reason I've been lifting less for a while and then when I tried lifting the amount I used to it was difficult to do.

if you dont do squat than you might as well stop lifting weights.

I felt the same way when I stop going to the gym in December and went back Jan 2. Your body has to re-adjust itself again to do the same amount weight. I was benching 245 lbs (flat bench)before I stopped going. Now it's 205 .

edit: Also, have you been changing up your routine? Maybe, that can get you back to peaking.
