DL shifts to the weak side and 2 LBs come down to the strong side (ends up being a 6 man front) with SS coming down inside the box (behind the DL) and the 3rd LB is behind the other 2. (Under normal naming conventions it would look like a 6-2.) i guess the plays i saw in the 1985 Bears highlights were not the 46. what i saw was every player on Chicago within 5 yards of the line of scrimmage. i thought "i guess thats a 46"... the whole fucking team is on the line of scrimmage. the only thing i knew about the 46 came from the 1985 Bears Super Bowl run. these were normal 1st and 10 plays in the middle of the game in the middle of the field. And the Bears had everyone on the field close enough to spit on the QB. lol. technically, i think what i was looking at in those '85 Bears highlights was a 7-2 with no safeties. and the 46 has a safety. the Bears didn't have a #46 on their team in 1985.. so i never made the connection.

the Rams QB threw a pass less than 10 yards that went incomplete and the play-by-play commentator said "if he catches that pass he's gone.. that's a TD" ... what a laugh. i'll see if i can find it on youtube again. thinking about it more carefully.. there is no way that was the Bears standard defense. EDIT: i found it. + Show Spoiler + The Rams QB is short. ![]() In conclusion, the Bears defense may have been unusual even bordering on bizarre, but it sure did work. This 1985 Bears defense is considered one of the best of all time. On June 29 2016 18:05 y0su wrote: It's not a 4-6 defense, it's a front run with 4-3 personnel. (Under normal naming conventions it would look like a 6-2.) yep, that is dead bang on correct. the Bears standard defense did exactly that in 1985. i watched a bunch of 1985 Bears games a few years ago and my impressionistic memory of it was "ya man, that 46 defense is where your whole damn team stands on the line of scrimmage"

Sources told ESPN that Luck is guaranteed $87 million with this extension. The previous most-guaranteed money for any NFL player was $65 million for both Eli Manning of the New York Giants and Philip Rivers of the San Diego Chargers. $140 million over 6 years. That's a lot of dough for a guy that just had a pretty bad season, I honestly thought there would be a lot less guaranteed.

He should've given up his cell phone etc. Had he done that he'd be serving 1 game. Maybe 2. Instead he chose to stand up to a group of billionaires. i know my methodology is overly canadian and totally non-confrontational but it would've been a better strat. when i was in high school i didn't mouth off to the guy who was almost the same size as Brock Lesnar and today... i don't take on 31 billionaires. Rog will only make stupid over-the-top suspensions like this stick if you have the gall to engage in a stare down.

he should have given them more than we he deemed "relevent text messages". http://www.businessinsider.com/tom-brady-destroyed-his-cellphone-before-deflategate-meeting-2015-7 http://www.businessinsider.com/deflategate-tom-brady-appeal-judges-hammered-destroyed-cellphone-2016-4 Brady needs to take some crying press conference lessons from Jon "bones" Jones. " i love this game.. i love the NFL .. i love the competition. .and to take this away from me just rips my heart out... these owners have created the greatest sports league in the world" etc etc etc. then just start crying a lot. but its too late for all that.

I'd go the Michael Jordan route and not the Tom Brady route when it comes to negotiating with the commish.
