I'm actually curious about Tennessee, Mariota flashed so I'm hoping to see him stay healthy and see what he can do and not become RG3

As for Oakland, it's gonna be hard against Denver and KC but the AFC West can be wild so it'll be interesting. I'll take Carr over Bortles anyday, but he still needs to make the next jump if they want to make the playoffs. Excited particularly for their studs on defense though

Oakland has a steeper hill to climb than Jax, but I've seen KC implode before and Denver lost quite a bit from last year on defense (they still are far better than Oakland). I'm actually curious about Tennessee, Mariota flashed so I'm hoping to see him stay healthy and see what he can do and not become RG3 I keep hearing people say this but the Broncos only lost Jackson and Trevathan on defense. Great players, but there are others to fill the holes. The pass rush and the secondary is still there, and one could argue that even Sanchez is an upgrade at quarterback compared to what transpired last year. I don't expect them to repeat because that is always unlikely and the run last year was pretty unique on its own, but I see the team actually being better this year barring significant injuries, of course.

Yeah north american sports, do worst get best pick! Hold on, are you suggesting that some of NA's favorite pastimes promote the "S word"? I do wish there were more of an NBA style lottery at the bottom to not actually hurt teams that managed to get a win or two! + Show Spoiler [(non-NFL)football] + My team won our season opener 28-7 last night! Beat the team that knocked us out of the playoffs last year (and one that we were 0-5 against in the last 2 years I've coached). My D allowed 1 TD but also caused 5 turnovers (including a strip-sack that was recovered in the end zone for a TD).

Here is a rather unusual perspective on his cause of death... this video is NSFW. + Show Spoiler + whatever the cause.. i wonder if the NFL has the lowest life expectancy of the 4 major NA sports.

"46" was named after #46 Doug Plank (Bears SS at the time). DL shifts to the weak side and 2 LBs come down to the strong side (ends up being a 6 man front) with SS coming down inside the box (behind the DL) and the 3rd LB is behind the other 2. (Under normal naming conventions it would look like a 6-2.)

You are into Finnish football? Do you know Micky Kyei (WR), Sebastien Sagne(WR) and Santeri Inkinen(DB)? Because those moved over from the Finnish top division to my hometown+favorite team (Dresden Monarchs) and are now rocking the GFL. After 8 games Sagne is at 820 yards received + 12TD, Kyei at 573yards + 7 TD. Inkinen had some troubles finding into the game here, but is now slowly showing up too, even though our defense is terrible as a whole this year. Last years we also had Arttu Tennberg(C), but he left us before this season. This was quite a blow to our D-Line ![]()

He did off season work-outs with us. (I'm the DC so we didn't talk much.)I don't know the rest of the scene here that well (our team is working back to the top division - a big reason Sebastien is playing there).

All the years we were a running team... Then we also lost our best WR before the last season (and had the usual rotation on QB/RB spots) so everyone was expecting this to get even more onesided offensively. And then we brought 4 new WR (Micky, Sebastien and 2 Germans) and while our new RB got injured early the season our new QB is also doing damn well with his new receiver corps... And suddenly we are a 75% pass team ^.^ Oh, and send us more players like Sebastien! One day we will win this German Bowl ^.^ Semifinal every year is not enough! PS: All our games are broadcasted live, you should totally watch em. Usually we have all the US/Australian player moms, girlfriends and whatever in the chat. (well, and obviously Monarchs fans who didnt make it to the stadium^^) Adding some former coach of a player would make it even more amusing, even when it is only the DC. Saturday, 15:00 CEST http://livestream.com/RadioMonarchsTV The opponent was just promoted to the GFL, but in the away game the result was a 49:77 in our favor. Our defense completely collapsed, and it wasn't made easier, that their defense was even more hopeless, which resulted in our defense being on the pitch almost all the time, because our offense really scored _too fast_. I expect our defense to do better this time, but there should be still enough to see from Sebastien ![]()
