Then again they have such a monster D and you want to add firepower where else can you go? Yes coming through, thats the keyword.. Nothing at the moment, and coming through isnt bankable investment. What are you going to do for the 2-3 years they take to get their feet wet ? I'd say that you should set the team up to capitalize on those strikers in a few years. They have pogba and their defence is solid but a few dynamite wingers to grow up with their strikers can really make the team set for an even longer extended period of time on top.

The question was rhetorical, but your answer is correct :p

GOAL! DORTMUND 0-1 MAN CITY (Aguero 79) Finally! City get the breakthrough in Shenzhen and it's Sergio Aguero who gets the first goal of the Pep Guardiola era. Brilliant play from City as they carve the Dortmund defence to shreds, with Silva ghosting in behind the backline before squaring to Aguero for the simplest of finishes.
GOAL! DORTMUND 1-1 MAN CITY (Pulisic 90+5) City switch off at the back as Dortmund take a short corner to Kagawa. Pulisic is allowed to run unmarked into the area, where Kagawa's lays the ball into his path and he strokes the ball home through the 'keeper's legs.
Full Time!

The last 20 minutes Chelsea had to shut up shop due to the red. Liverpool never had a sniff all game though and if Chelsea were more clinical we could have had more but they ran out 1-0 winners. Nice to see the ability to defend again is back
oh god that game was so painful to watch.

and then you wonder why everyone is playing defend with 10 man in Euro lol When the big teams do it, the small teams do it too.

Was huge article on this by Guillem Ballague, not the brightest button in the box but what he says makes complete sense. Football the last 10 years has gone full circle. From defensive shut outs to free scoring goal fests. I can't find it at the moment but it was good and it will change again but this is the way i like to see my teams play. You argue its defensive and 10 behind the ball but the Chelsea formation is 4-2-4

wish the football world could somehow ban the use of agents like mendes and raiola. get players to hire lawyers to overlook their contracts, not these 'agents' that basically control how the transfers around the world works and horde millions for doing it. fking cancers

whats the difference between what they do vs smaller agents? other than the fact that their clients are more sought after and thus commands more money and more attention from clubs?
|
the whole situation regarding the use of agents is stupid. the only reason any player should have outside representation is if they cant read or dont understand contracts well enough to handle on their own so that they dont get shafted by a club. how can you argue that agents like mendes or raiola are acting in their players' best interests when they only allow a transfer to go through if they are paid millions for it? its especially worse when these same big agents represent like the majority of all the high profile names in football.
