It shouldn't really effect football too much to be honest. I think the pound dive is likely to be a knee jerk reaction that slowly drift back to an equilibrium. I guess I should be running to various banks and seeing if I can send as much of my Korean and Chinese money home as quick as possible but I'm to shocked to do that right now.
It will be a true disaster if other countries start to break away from the EU though. Unless they negotiate different arrangements for work permits compared to the standard work permits that non EU players have to deal with say bye bye to getting random talent like Kante, Payet and Mahrez. If non EU rules applied these guys would never have played in the premier league. Or even guys like Martial etc. The requirements for non EU players to get work permits are ass. Im sure the league and owners will push for the regulation to not affect athletes but lets see. Its not going to happen for a while. The more immediate issue will be sterling being worth dick.
I doubt Swiss, Albanian, Croatian, Ukrainian, Norwegian players all have too much problems playing in other leagues? So don't create unnecessary panic -.-

I was suprissed when my Korean friend started talking about Sterling the other day. She has no interest in football but was asking questions about why he needed to be brought back to England and why the team wasn't paying for it (she didn't realise it was a joke). It amuses me immensely to know that story was picked up in Korea.
How much did CIty pay for him 50million how much is he worth now, 15?

Sterling was always bad and City has always been extremely dumb at expending money
So no wonder they paid 50m

This was regarding the PL only. Not other leagues. Players will still play, just not in the PL. Its not a huge problem for players. Its a problem for the PL.
And Im not creating any panic lol dafuq is wrong with you.
I literally said its not going to happen for a while and that teams and the league probably negotiate exceptions for players.
We are talking a few years here.

yeah, if anything the brexit will not happen right away
and pretty sure there will be a huge lobby by FIFA/PL to support the same rules

PL and top tier players are going to be fine. It's the Football League (2nd division) and the Scottish League (SPFL) that will not be able to contract any mid tier Europeans anymore in 2 years. Might be a good thing long term for UK talent, short term the level of play will probably suffer.

Losing in four finals (in a row, shorta) kinda stings ...
Not a fan but I do feel bad for him.

Hopefully it was just in the heat of the moment and he's just venting his frustration?

"Final tweet: Between the issues Messi brought up at his presser Friday, the potential disaffiliation of AFA from FIFA in the coming hours; Boca and even the national team could be at risk. There is also limbo presidency at their FA. Elections supposedly will be going on midweek should there be no govt of FIFA intervention. There is a chance Copa Lib (Boca) is not played. Also add to that the potential of national team being removed from WCQs.
These scenarios might not happen, but the reality is there that things are at DEFCOM 5 in Argentine football and there is no solution in site. Tomorrow will be the beginning of the fallout."
