It shouldn't really effect football too much to be honest. I think the pound dive is likely to be a knee jerk reaction that slowly drift back to an equilibrium. I guess I should be running to various banks and seeing if I can send as much of my Korean and Chinese money home as quick as possible but I'm to shocked to do that right now. It will be a true disaster if other countries start to break away from the EU though. | ||

FIFA Article 19: International transfers can't be completed until players turns 18. For transfers within EU or EEA, age criteria is reduced to 16. Well this could certainly fuck the premier league | ||

Unless they negotiate different arrangements for work permits compared to the standard work permits that non EU players have to deal with say bye bye to getting random talent like Kante, Payet and Mahrez. If non EU rules applied these guys would never have played in the premier league. Or even guys like Martial etc. The requirements for non EU players to get work permits are ass. Im sure the league and owners will push for the regulation to not affect athletes but lets see. Its not going to happen for a while. The more immediate issue will be sterling being worth dick. | ||
