I don't get the sick part. Or even any of it, that's so weird, and really off-putting like wtf. And ya same I use the SL 5x5 app thing which has a timer.
been on and off gym as usual , just started at a new place and took a random video with my camera phone, first time doing pullups (or anything) in 3 or whatever weeks after another dota stint (now deleted again -_- )
There is one protection against both kinds of disproportion: that we should not move the body without the soul or the soul without the body, and thus they will be on guard against each other, and be healthy and well balanced. And therefore the mathematician or any one else whose thoughts are much absorbed in some intellectual pursuit, must allow his body also to have due exercise, and practice gymnastic; and he who is careful to fashion the body, should in turn impart to the soul its proper motions, and should cultivate music and all philosophy, if he would deserve to be called truly fair and truly good.
ya it was intentional (???) this time coz i knew i was moving house soon and so got some weed and just bummed out before i had to go clean plastic bit of covering is back over the Self Destruct button , see, look, it's right here, right by my finger, look, i can almost touch it from here....
Made my own changes over this last year, didn't think to check the fitness community on TL. Went from 265 (120kg) peaking near 280 (127kg) around 2015 to 191 (~86kg) just this last week
Photo on the left is April of last year, Photo on the right my wife took of us at Versailles in May 2017.
Right now, I'm working on getting pull ups down and moving away from certain exercises I've been scaling for the last year. Goal weight at this point is 185 (83kg) and continue improving body composition.
Trying to get into more of a routine meditating too.
Quit boozing almost altogether, though I still drink, got to running routinely at the gym in my office a little while after joining a local gym near my house and reigned in caloric consumption by a good deal sticking to around 1500 a day.

Definitely was, doing the math on how much I was drinking just in terms of calories and it makes me wince now. Now my big indulgence is a drink here or there, or more frequently of late gummy bears for reasons I'm not quite certain of.

I feel younger, all the more so because I haven't been this light since high school.

Just keep at it, and change it up. The only super consistent thing I've been doing is running in the mornings. My gym time is pretty varied.
oh god gummy bears -_- these chewy things, i havent had them in like a decade but still get the sensation of wanting to chew them just from seeing the word. try DIET soda or that juice concentrate that you mix a bit with water (instead of having high kcal juice)
These things can still have a lot of calories depending of course how you mix them. If you mix anywhere close to the ratio they recomend its probably more than you think.

its about the same as soda if you mix it the way its recommended
i have no idea , but this Robinsons is 7 kcal/100ml , and it's not even diet. switching from fruit drinks or regular cola to diet cola or flavoured water seems to be a big fuckin deal
I cold turkey'd diet soda for a while to just take it out of the equation. My wife thinks I have a fizzy water (La Croix, Pelligrino etc) problem now though.
I'll still do a diet coke every now and again. I just see regular soda as a waste of calories for the day if it is just a coke or something. I'll change my tune if it is a really good, or interesting root beer or a soda that isn't super common.
La Croix does a good job hitting the fizzy need but I can understand if people don't like it. But they also need to suck it up and kill the sugar dragon
