It's the same reason I don't see why people think Le'Veon Bell is a stud, fantasy or otherwise. Dude rushes for 3.5 YPC with a terrible offensive line. That's not terrible, but it's leaps and bounds from good.

Does anyone has news/rumours concerning the Bills and/or Michael Vick? Given how bad the AFC is, Buffalo would be a playoff team with a decent quarterback. I'm not sure that Vick is that guy, though.

Really curious why he waited so long to get it though...

Does anyone has news/rumours concerning the Bills and/or Michael Vick? There's almost no chance of it happening. With Manuel having basically redshirted last season due to the knee injuries, a Vick signing would really hurt his development. It makes no sense for us to sign him, and he'd only be reliable for 8 games at most before his first injury, at which point Manuel would have to play again. I was bullish on our chances, but then the schedules came out and it's hell for us. AFC West...

It is the easiest position to learn out of college and it has the shortest shelf life. Running backs are easily replaceable. Disagree, cornerback is by far the easiest position to pick up the playbook out of college, followed by wide receiver. RB's have to learn stuff besides running lanes like passing routes, blocking schemes etc.

They have a amazing dline, but are sub par at all other positions. Maybe PFM/TFB/Rodgers/Brees could get them there, but they need a first ballot hof qb to take their current roster to the playoffs. You're seriously underrating our secondary, even without Byrd. Our running game was solid last year as well. Sure an all time great would get us there in no time, but I think a second cut QB would get us to the playoffs as well (Newton, Wilson etc.). Let's look at the schedule from last year (Team, Result, Margin): Patriots, L, 2 (Winnable coin flip game, lost on a last minute drive, IIRC) Panthers, W, 1 (Should have lost, Riverboat Ron almost got fired after this game) Jets, L, 7 (Terrible game, lots of penalties, neither team wanted to win) Ravens, W, 3 (Close win at home, where we play well, very coin flippy game) Browns, L, 13 (Thursday night game, Hoyer and Manuel got hurt in this one) Bengals, L, 3 (Another well played game at home, took a furious comeback to take it to OT) Dolphins, W, 2 (Thad Lewis somehow beats Miami, in Miami, unreliable victory to win on the road in division) Saints, L, 18 (Drew Brees did as he pleased) Chiefs, L, 10 (Doesn't show up in the box, but we had KC by the nuts in this one, Tuel threw a 98 yard pick six, we lose by 10, ran all over them that day, something like 280 yards rushing) Steelers, L, 13 (On the road, offense didn't score until like two minutes left in the fourth, terrible performance) Jets, W, 23 (Huge win at home, against a rival, before the bye, don't remember game details too well) Falcons, L, 3 (OT? Game in Toronto, if this game was at home, we win because of the crowd, and the slower turf negating Atlanta's speed, they passed a lot and with success that day) Bucs, L, 21 (Bobby Rainey rips off an 80 yard TD on the second play, Manuel throws up another dud) Jags, W, 7 (Won on a 4th quarter TD, don't remember much else) Dolphins, W, 19 (Crushed Miami's playoff chances) Patriots, L, 14 (We always get slaughtered in this game, IIRC Blount ran all over us) So where does that put the Bills? 8 games decided by a score or less, with a record of 4-4. Throw in the fact that we won't be playing in Toronto this year and the Chiefs game was basically in the bag, and last season easily could have had us at 8-8 and staring the playoffs right in the face, even with Manuel's abysmally inconsistent play. Thoughts?

I think the playoffs is a two year plan right now. Yup, Buffalo has a good crowd advantage Bills had a great start last season until EJ Manuel got hurt. It was quite sad because they had a chance to turn the page of a terrible era with Fitzpatrick. They were a winning team at the beginning of the season, but Manuel's injury made them lose all hope even though Lewis and Tuel answered ok with the pressure. Next season will be way better if Manuel can play 16 games. They can aim for 8-8, even 9-7!

RB's have to learn stuff besides running lanes like passing routes, blocking schemes etc. corner's up there, but RB is definitely the most similar between college and the pros. following blockers and hitting holes is pretty much the same for both, and the only real learning a back has to do is how to pick up a free pass rusher. wide receivers though have to learn a lot more than either, since NFL passing schemes tend to be much more complex than college ones. Even in "pro-style" offenses...

I really doubt it, esp both teams already have wrs in place. moreover, djax is extremely important to that offense. he is what takes away the safety for mccoy, and gives maclin room to operate.
