I stayed the fuck away from Lacy, and for good reason. Mostly I just never put my trust into second-year players 'cause more often than not, it doesn't pay off.
I didn't even wanna pick up Keenan Allen but I had to at the time =_= and it's biting me in the butt atm. At least I have good receiver depth in the TL league. I just need Rodgers to step it up like he did last week...

Hold on Allen. He was fighting a groin and had to go against Sherman, Peterson, and the Bills at home in three straight weeks. He'll be better.

I'm not gonna panic on him. Rivers treats his receivers well. Allen will be good in plus matchups so long as he isn't hobbled. He was just overvalued tis all, but at least I have a rotation that includes Edelmann, DJax, Colston and Steve Smith.

now that my fantasy week is lost, I am focusing on tonight's MNF matchup. I'm a huge Jets fan, and although their pass defense is pretty weak, I think they'll be able to get in Cutler's face and force some bad throws. If we can play keep away with the run game, we have a good chance for an upset win at home, methinks.

I actually didn't believe that but ESPN says it's true... crazy. granted, the Bear's receivers are both hobbled but for my money, Chicago has the best WR group in the league. their #3 was our #1 just last year...
I believe we can win, and I'm going to believe that Geno is the future until he proves otherwise. Given my team's history, that's going to take multiple consecutive rotator cuff injuries or the most embarrassing possible play in sports.

"Disrespecting an Official" ? WTF? When did leagues decide that they need to constantly coddle officials? Not that its a good thing, but fielding insults successfully is basically 95% of the job of an official. I used to ref both soccer and football. IMO the NFL, NBA, MLB are all guilty of this BS, but this new penalty, the fines after games for saying "the officiating sucked" its all fucking BS. And the sad part is the player/coach is right almost all the time.
Then they get fined and the stupid shills on sportsradio, etc say that people need to deal with it? FFS they still havent given us an official announcement about the Kaepernick (alleged slur) nonsense.
