Btw I've always liked Avant I hope he does well in Carolina I had to look up if that was the same Avant that was in Philly for what seems like forever. Yeah. He was also the #2 receiver behind Braylon Edwards back at U of M and I always thought he was a serious workhorse back then.

There's a guy I haven't thought about in a while, though he probably hasn't been out of the league for that long. Didn't he used to be called "velcro hands" or something? He was like third in Heisman voting one year, IIRC.
EDIT: Without looking, how many times do you think Braylon Edwards had 1,000 yards in his career?

ffs can we at least get out of the game without losing more players. that's our top 4 rbs hurt now.

I'm pretty sure he got it once with the Browns and then once with the Jets? I find it funny that Avant stayed in the league longer considering Avant was definitely number two back at U of M. If you can't tell I'm a big wolverines fan :D
EDIT: I looked he only got it the one time with the Browns. That was a good season for him. I lost interest in him after he got a DUI and he played for my least favorite team

He seemed to be a top notch receiver for a while but I guess I was remembering incorrectly. I think he struggled with drops at some point.
Agreed on the Avant point, though he seems like the model citizen which Edwards clearly wasn't.

Well I'm glad that is finally over. I thought the Panthers had a good run defense, but we got absolutely manhandled. And next week we are facing the bloodbath that Steve Smith promised. I wonder if we will have an active running back I've ever heard of (Deangelo please play please). Then it's not like our schedule gets easy any time soon. Might be a few rough weeks for us Panthers fans.

Okay I'm finally over that stupid Baker hit.
I'm super stoked we won vs Washington because they are a lot better than they are given credit for, I think they will be good down the stretch and I think they have to keep Cousins in because he is playing extremely well.

I watch Foles every week and he puts up elite QB stats, but I never notice him actually doing it...
Eddie Lacy is really tanking my fantasy season. 10 points over 3 weeks Packers in general are looking mad poop.

Yeah Lacy has failed me hard this year… and to think people thought he was RB1 caliber TT Charles has been disappointing as well

Up in two leagues and my opponents have Brandon Marshall left.
Praying for Marshall to reinjure himself on the first play and get sidelined. ;;

Goddamn my Niners is so bad this year they're falling apart from one of the best Defense to the worst. From a top tier offense to a mediocre who can't score a single point in second half in three games.
|
LOL at the Lacy freak out. If you guys are moping about three weeks, don't invest in the market. Just chill. You drafted him for a reason.

Those are really hard to maintain (see Jets, or even the Bucs and Ravens after their 1st titles).
Harbaugh has had the best coaching run since Bill Belichick in the early 2000s. Its really impossible to maintain a great team unless you have a great player at QB that can stay healthy 3 straight conference championships is just ridiculous.

F you... hahah All hail Marshall our fantasy savior! After McCoy dumped on me I need a big game maaan.

Yeah I think he'll turn it up but fuck lacy is killing me right about now

It seems that I'm not learning my lessons from years past. Stafford has done this to me before and I still drafted him thinking his mechanics improved in the off-season. Nope....

I wouldn't touch Stafford with a ten-foot pole no matter where he fell to me in the draft. I don't trust that guy at all. IMO totally overrated and was carried by Calvin to where he's at.
I wasn't really comfortable with Lacy's draft position this year, but I won't lie and said I knew he would be a bust. Just didn't seem like a 5th overall pick to me. But who knew the Packers would struggle so bad on offense.

My TL fantasy team is pretty much toast. With AP out and my Ben Tate going down, my RB situation is a mess, which was the strength of my team at the outset of the season. I'm well on my way to a winless season.
|
I'm also going to refrain from giving fantasy advice to my friends this season. Too many wrong calls this week.
