I lost my game this week because Stafford decided that he didn't want to throw any TDs. Five points down and I got four points from him. Meanwhile I had Russell Wilson with 22 points on the bench. Goodbye perfect fantasy season. ![]()

Both feet were in clear as day. he stepped out of bounds prior to catching the ball. he needed to re-establish feet in bounds prior to making a play on the ball. That sort of thing tends to happen more often on punt coverage than pass catching.

He has to re-establish himself with both feet in bounds AND not be the first person to touch the ball.

That's definitely not the first play I've seen this year where I thought it was illegal touching and it wasn't called.

I don't think so. That's always been the rule. If you go out of bounds of your own will (not forced), you can't be the first person to touch the ball upon re-entry to the field of play. I could be horribly wrong, but I don't think I am.

After what happened last week, I can't believe that the coaching staff would let the team give an encore performance this week. Harbaugh's days in SF may be numbered. Just a horrific coaching performance in general. Second week in a row where the team was clearly out coached. You're overreacting and the team would be overreacting to even think about canning Harbaugh after a 1-2 start. There is plenty of season left for them to bring it back.

Oh, I didn't see the play. Did they not flag him? I think we're saying the same thing. They must have missed the call if they didn't flag it, because it certainly looked like he went out. Lots of Steelers fans in attendance, it would seem. That Brown TD was met with loud cheering.

No they didn't flag it, but the reason it wasn't a TD is because he stepped out. And there are a lot of Steeler fans in NC.
