I liked Kostner program most, but still belive outcome is not that bad

Adelina went all-in with the complexity of her elements in the second part of the program, it paid off

Hellloooo? Did you see what I wrote before, Sotnikova got more points than Costner in the PROGRAM part

Damn.. respect to Yuna for taking that so positively..
something don't seem right though

Well at least 50 billion can buy u a gold medal in a corrupt sport....Korea better put in a protest of some kind
|
The russian had amazingly beatuful jumps and the other elements she did were nice too. Its a close call but the jumps of sutnikova were what amazed me.
|
The corruption is hilarious, congrats to the winner for being russian

Korea already hosts the next Olympics, get in line with the money.

oh, no one would disagree that the Russian was better technically. But she got way too many points for her program

Even the CBC commentators are stunned, questioning it a bit, but wording it very diplomatically.
I suppose more people would understand how most Canadians feel about Tessa Virtue/Scott Moir's results now.

I dunno. Everyone is cheering around right now but i'm long fan of Kim Yuna and i'm sad now ): Adelina is good though as well as Julie. And i'm happy for Carolina as well, finally she got it.
And i dunno why did Ashley get such little points. She deserved way more imo. Eh, time to...dunno, be sad.

That's actually VERY likely to happen *remember Vancouver* Especially in case Yulia lose her speed while growing up

I really don't understand why anyone takes figure skating seriously as an Olympic sport.
Between it's very questionable consideration as a "sport" and its undeniable corruption and subjectivity, I can't stop myself from laughing at all of this.

Katarina Witt ( 1 of the only 2 time gold medalist) says that 5 point difference makes no sense and Yuna was clearly robbed of her title but hey shouldn't have gotten my hopes up when a russian has a chance of winning a medal in during Olympics in russia.

So was Katarina Witt, our TV expert ^^. She won 2 olympics some years ago, she too thought Yuna won, but said the russian was very good and it isn't undeserved. Still she was a bit mad. :D

BBC commentators are actually ok with this decision of judges and even explain "why so many points"

Adelina apparently can't shave her armpit without cutting herself ^^

Its been a subjective thing for years already, everyone who follows Olympics at least since Nagano knows how questionable the medal distribution is.
This by NO MEANS neglects the fact that these skaters are amazingly good and talented.
