what a disgusting referee.... First he overrules the lines ref and THEN says to Klopp "he needs goal technology to correctly call the goal..."
I am not sure that the line ref really signaled that. I couldnt find a camera angle on him but no one from the dortmund bench or the players on the field did run at him what i would expect happening if he signaled something. What could have happen is that he pointed his arm at the middle of the field, and not his flag which would mean that he called "no goal, keep playing".
We should just get over it. Just found it funny how Klopp talked to the DFB guy. Over 120 minutes Bayern played better. Maybe it was a goal, it doesn't matter. I think both teams can be satisfied with their seasons.
It's good it happens though when clear use of technology would of changed (well maybe, Bayern might of made it 1-1 and took it extra time anyway) the result when the technology is so easy to use. Oh well maybe next year you might get it
I don't think we'll talk about it that soon again. What I don't understand is why we don't pay for it with TV money. I think it's about 500k per club per year? That's "only" 18million. Hell Dortmund, Bayern, Schalke, Wolfsburg and Leverkusen could all pay 3 million and it's a done deal.
Gerardo Martino has confirmed he will step down from Barcelona
"In agreement with the club I am no longer the coach," Martino said. "I deeply regret not having achieved the goals that this club has always been set and achieved. "These are great players. My greatest gratitude goes to the players. They have made me proud."
On Friday, Enrique announced he was stepping down as Celta Vigo coach, having been heavily linked with a return to the club where he finished his playing days and began his coaching career with Barcelona B.

Yeah the worst part is that the English took the big stance on this making sure we got it ready for our league and we did. Then FIFA finally caved in and said yeah they will do it and instead of going with the English company who made it they chose to go with the German developers So in FIFA's eyes your the best developers of this technology and your league doesn't have it >.<

thx for posting, its so cool and funny, Ill give a fast translate:
Journalist: Did you see Dante prevent the goal on the goalline? what would you say about it? Klopp: What would you say about it? J: Id say it was in. K: 'laughs' nice, so your glasses help a little? J: You also have one. K:True. But in that moment, I wouldnt have needed it, cause when the player stands on the goalline with the right foot and kicks the ball away with his left, then he would, hm, have to be part of Cirque de Soleil, to do that, without it being a goal. That was so obvious, of course it irritated me a bit. and then people say: we need goal line technology. What comes to my mind with this now btw, goalline technology wasnt needed, if we had had a goal line ref. where were they today btw? why are there none in such a big final. in International play, when someone of East Siberia plays, they are there. And when Bayern plays against Dortmund in the big DFB, you simply leave them out. they would have been enough. J: the side ref did see it too! he gave the goal sign. K: you serious? J: yes K: Mr. Mayer said it wasnt a goal? J: He didnt. K: Side ref says goal and the ref says he knows better, and after the game he tells me he needs goal line technology? really? DFB-Guy: not sure if it was like that. K: well, didnt ask you anyway. J: side ref showed to the left with flag. D: we could ask him. K to D: you be silent. youre from DFB. J: he showed to the left for a sec, so he probably meant goal. then he put the flag down fast. K: *laughs* is there a timelimit how long you have to hold the flag up? Thats all very funny and cant change it anyway, but thats a big one. from a worse position to decide on goal over someone whos job it is to do that. dont need to talk about goal line technology then, maybe a signaldevice for the side ref. but ok, we got 2 goals, didnt play so well, neither did Bayern. cause it was tough and demanding. it wasnt a game for Yogi Loew either with so many players of national team limping around. but in one year noone will talk about that we actually scored a goal, like noone talked about giving YellowRed cards for fouls in the penalty area last year. What evs, shouldnt talk myself into trouble. nice holidays and a nice WC! D: nice way to end it. Thx J. K.
Basels Valentin Stocker will play for Hertha BSC next year. I feel so sorry for Basel. Feels like they lose absolutely everybody in a span of 12 months : (

Yeah, it was basically impossible to get correct on the field though, since I needed a slow-mo zoom in to confirm that the ball wasn't played by a teammate.
It came off Juanfran who was being challenged closely by Fabregas, but Fabregas never actually touched or played the ball that caused the offside.
Also I can't be the only one that thought Hummels was offside on the controversial play.
