Goal line decisions are different. Every football fan, player, manager and referee wants goal line technology, why it isn't introduced to every professional football match i have absolutely no idea. It has been proven that there are literally no negative consequences. As it is the ref has his/her hands tied. Its basically a big fuck you to referees all over the world. Football bosses are dicks.

I still don't understand how this team perform so bad in CL... They even couldn't qualify for the final of the Europa League in their own stadium ![]()

Manchester City are still willing to let three of their homegrown players leave this summer despite the restrictions placed on the club City will see their Champions League squad trimmed to 21 names as one of the punishments handed out by European football's governing body, but it appears they will let Micah Richards, Jack Rodwell and Scott Sinclair depart the Etihad Stadium during the forthcoming transfer window. Coupled with the departures of two other players who are out of contract this summer, Gareth Barry and Joleon Lescott, it means the new Premier League champions will mount the defence of their title without five of their current English contingent Source This makes me so sick, Chelsea don't have that many English players but we have always had a core of them through John Terry Ashley Cole and Frank Lampard. We also have some fine English kids that probably will be sold and bought back to us haha. Anyway back to the point, this is awful how they are going to go into next season with 1 English player in their squad...let alone try and make a 21 man UEFA squad with 5 or 8 home grown players is it? I forget the exact numbers but you have to have homegrown players in that squad and they have all gone now lol. Jack Rodwell was as good if not better than Barkley when he was signed by City, now look at him? Micah Richard 2 seasons ago was wanted by Chelsea so badly because he was an exceptional RB, now he does not play. Gareth Barry was Aston Villas best player for years and was wasting on the bench until Roberto Martinez rescued him Joleon Lescott was wanted by so many clubs last summer and this winter window he choose to sit on the bench and WASTE a potential world cup squad spot Scott Sinclair, the Chelsea youth team pro who went and made a name for himself at Swansea city. Signed for Man City to not even play and ruin his career. All of those players could of gotten into this World Cup squad if they had been playing regularly. Mostly i echo that of Micah Richards he could of been SO SO SO good and still can be, he is a tank in physique and great in the air. An English Ivanovic. I think the best team for him to go to is easily Liverpool or Arsenal in the transfer window as he is brilliant.

Yea its kinda sad but why should an arabic investor care about the english national team. He has an interest into having an international team so its reasonable to kick out the "not world class" english players. Of course it is horrible for the english national team, in my prediction game i have them going out with 1 point in the groupstage.

![]() But yeah there needs to be rules in place to make the first 11 have to have 3 English players in or the match day squad of 11+ 5 subs have 4 English players in or something. None of this you need 5 in the 25 man squad or whatever bullshit.

I think it is more a psychological thing that cant be changed by minor rules. Look at Arsenal earlier the season fans were pressuring Wenger to buy a big star or at least spend big money on players. Its a mentality in the league and the clubs that big money + foreigner means good players. In opposite to that coaches at Barca, Dortmund or Bayern are pushed to use young, local players by the fans and club leaders.

When your English in the premier league you will be thrown around with huge inflated price tag which puts teams off again. They had a whole year time to think of fighting against that while England has no experience at all
