The best part was the numbers. The red letters on purple looks really good. It's a shame that they didn't get to wear it too often though, really only when they played a team that also wears red. Yellow is a much better color for an away kit.

Its not that the english roster is bad it is more that it constantly dissapoints in the tactics part in my opinion. Everything i always see is kick and rush.

Of course, that is the way we play. We are not a pass pass pass brilliantly drilled footballing unit in that way. We are a good organized defensive unit with the ability to break on the counter quickly and effectively. Pretty much the only style we should use as well unless in the next 4-8 years we produce another 4 Barkelys for midfield, another 2 Rooneys and a back 4 of Cahills and Ashley Coles. If not there is no way we will be able to pass pass pass like the other teams XD
Nothing wrong with that style anyway, no reason that style will not win the world cup either. Portugal if they win it or go far will go with that style of probably not having the possession but being the most dangerous team on the counter attack.

Yeah place 5-8 had a playoff for 1 spot, which Groningen won over AZ in the 'final'. They'll compete in the second or third qualifying round (of 4) iirc.
Oh and I'm pretty sure blue streams into fourth qualification round for the Europa League group stage. Group stage isn't automatic for any team in Europe afaik. There's a qualification round before that.
Fwiw, both teams (NEC and RKC) that had to play relegation matches to stay up both relegated.
