I'm also trying to eat some Nutella but boy, it's not meant for mass-consume.
I've given up on natural protein sources though, it's such a huge fuss for even a small amount. I'll give powder a try. Yes, I'm gullible, and yes, I'd like to see results soon after I start going to gym, but mainly, I just don't want to spend my entire day keeping up with my protein needs. I'm fine with feeling shit being full almost 0-24, or colapsing after a hard work-out, but this protein thingy just demotivates me.
I'd need your help on what kind (and how much) of protein powder should I get.
I just go on slickdeals.net and search for protein deals If you look around you can usually find something for ~5$/pound instead of the usual 8-10.
Keep in mind at your 55kg bodyweight you only NEED probably 50-100g of protein a day. Which is like two chicken breasts. Lol
Keep in mind that cooking is not an option, and I don't want to - and in the long run, can't - eat out every day. 100g is like 3l milk, which I don't even like to begin with.
Wait if you don't cook and don't eat out what do you do? Graze? lol. But really all you need is meat and fire. or any source of heat.
Friday the 13th went well for me. Here's my lifts. Not shown is my back squat 3rm PR of 475. Also did a bunch of pulls and accessory work during lunch. Wasn't even planning on going to the gym but traffic was shit so i killed some time at the gym lol
164 (1kg pr) cj 170kg (4kg pr) clean and one of 3 close misses at 138kg which would have given me a pr snatch and total.

Why isn't cooking an option? How do you eat?
Because right now I'm living in an environment where I can't really cook, even if I could - which also makes practicing it close to impossible.
As for what I eat... since I'm trying to bulk, I changed my usual meals, which were 80-90% meat, to stuff with more calories in it. Like, a banana is around 100, a small yoghurt is more than a 100 (and I'm quite sure I'm not even buying the "heaviest" stuff). For main meals I still buy some meat, but mainly because I have no dea what should I eat. I've been staying in a much bigger city in the last ~3 months, so I could just buy pizzas, gyroses, "normal food" (like chicken breasts) or junk food, but now I'm back in town and it's like some post-apocalyptic refugee-camp. I can still eat out, yes, but not everyday, so I just go to the groceries and buy something with huge calories.
If I start working out in the gym, I'll need even more proteins, which I don't think I could just supply with two chicken breasts+rice every day (the cost of 4-5 of this equals with the cost of a protein poweder), of which I'm also getting somewhat sick - I like it, but in the last 2 weeks I've been pumping it into myself. Also, if I don't spend my food money on chicken breasts everyday, I can spend it on restaurant food with more calories, then I can buy less cold food. Or I don't know, this arguement didn't even convince me, lol. I'd just like to see some results rather sooner, than later - and eventually (even if we are talking about months if I keep up with my intentions) I'll have to use it anyway.
Edit: Ooookay, I was told that my body should get used to "being trained", etc, so I should wait 1,5-2 months to use that powder. Mhkay.

Wow, who said that? Because it's not true at all.
please fill a sock with protein and beat whoever told you that senseless
Eating whole foods is better than getting the majority of your protien from powder, but if you can't cook or otherwise prepare meals, it could be your best option.
Hey guys, let's set an official time for progress pics. Was thinking 11th of June (my 3 year lifting anniversary). Let's do front and back pics, both flexed and unflexed. Any takers?
It's not going to be that impressive or dramatic compared to most of you but I'm always down for checking progress!
Was there a november one? I saw talk about it but nothing else. I have noticed lately my shirt collars are getting too small... Maxing that OHP gonna kill my work wardrobe.
