Well I play football (soccer) every week with some friends. At gym I usually just go cycling. By the way im going to follow that plan the coach gave me. A friend of mine who has been doing workout for years told me its a normal plan for the first weeks. Iam probably not going to do it 4 weeks because Ive already been doing similar stuff when I started 2 weeks ago.

Worked my way up to 65kg after some coaching (makes a ton of difference to have someone who is very good at oly lifting correct you) I need to work on (prolly with empty bar) Not jumping backwards not cleaning the bar away (pull close to the body) learn to receive at bottom Cant wait to do 100kg! Lols. So funny to see someone so retardedly strong 'work up to' 65kg. I bet with a bit of technique work you'll be crushing weights twice as heavy.

I have my exams coming up so I haven't been to the gym in 3 days. Too much linear algebra and not enough squatting for my liking. That feel when you're boxers aren't quite as tight around your thighs as normal ![]()

Hey, working full time and not really lifting at the moment does not leave me with much to talk about here. Progress... well, I managed to keep my weight stable throughout the whole year, despite being in a new environment and all the stress that comes with working life. For someone with my fucked up eating habits, I would call that progress. At the moment I am afraid of squatting, since I have muscular problems in both squads. Acupuncture didn't help, massaging and stretching didn't help. Now I have insoles and from what I can tell, they don't help also. All of these things prevent me from picking up oly lifting as well. So basically moving serious weight is just about frustration for me at the moment and I don't know if this is treatable without having the medical care of an professional athlete. The initial injury helped while sprinting by the way, hasn't anything to do with lifting. Well, I have a Pull-Up Bar and attached Gymnastic Rings in my flat, which I use quite extensively. I should be able to do a Back Lever in the near future, that is at least something. Besides that, I just do tons of running and cardio. But all in all, it feels sucky at the moment. Don't really know what to do about it. Meh.

Also dieting down a bit, been eating like a litle bitch.

![]() Edit: On a different note, MRIs are scary as hell. This was my first one and I hyperventilated pretty bad during it lol

But I just don't know. I'll have a go at it maybe again next year, but I have tried a lot these couple months and I am at a loss at the moment and just tired of it. Hope your new job has health insurance! Go get an MRI or see an ortho or something. Miss those big lifts from you! Other than that glad to hear everything else is going well.

This was my first one and I hyperventilated pretty bad during it lol Nah bro, MRIs are a piece of cake. I had an MRI last week for my right hip to look at some weird bone fragment that is floating in my hip flexor tendons. Worst part of it was sitting still for 40 minutes. My lower back kills me on a flat surface because I have the glutes and thighs of a horse.

And can't they stick you in feet first for a hip MRI? I've had a few MRIs of my head before, and it really sucks when you've only got ~2 inches clearance on either shoulder, and you're strapped down 100% unable to move. In that tube for ~1.5 hours, that's that shit I don't like.
