0-0 is a pretty bad result if the second game is at home. losing 1-2 would be better then this.
thats bs ^^ come on a 4-3 is win then and it would not been with 1-2 there

Actually Bayern is the best club there is... And germany alltogether is the best league there is.
They actually got their finances together... Give me (nearly) unlimited funds and i create you the best league in switzerland... It won't be profitable in the least, but hey.. Who cares! It's football, the one thing that shuts down brains nearly as much as sex ^^.

You might be right but a 1:1 is far more realistic. The Problem is without a away goal you have to win at home. If they aren´t able to score before the 60 minute mark it gets very tough because you are just one error away from needing 2 goals. Thats especially dangerous for Dortmund because their defensive concept and 3/4 of their one goals life/comes from their against press (sorry guys i don´t think there is even an english word for "gegenpressen" ).
It´s not far away from the situation that Juventus is in. 2 Goals at home are not that big of a deal for a ro8 CL team but they have to be insanely carefully because if Bayern scores they need 4. And it doesnt matter how bad they play, over 90 minutes an offense with Müller, Ribery and Robben will always get their chances.
It´s more a psychological thing that you have a big disadvantage without an away goal.

You probably mean counter-attacking?

With "Gegenpressing" he means pressing right after you lost the ball, to win it back(and then hopefully encounter an unorganized defense cause they all switched to attacking mode)

Not sure i think counter-attack would be more like a fastbreak in basketball is. The german word "gegenpressen" is used as a part of "pressing" which is kind of the same as a full court press in basketball. Its the strategy that brought Barcelona to their dominance, instead of backing off to defend after you loose the ball you rush the ballhandler as fast and as soon as possible and put a lot of pressure at the opponents defenders who wants to initiate the attack..

also known as high pressure in fifa

this new age dortmund arrogance... their first cl quarterfinals in 15 years, not even played the 2nd leg yet, already talking from the finals, cause real madrid would be no problem.

In fact, it's just some kind of fanatism for their club. Makes is basically impossible to kind of seriously discuss football, because they'll just throw in unreflected crap showing how much of a die-hard fan they are (in my experience, BVB and VfB Stuttgart fans are among the worst in that regard). I try to ignore it, but from time to time I'll get upset about such attitude ignoring the mostly very reasonable and reflected interaction in the big football threads here.

Yeah I do not understand some of our fans, but hey. I think we got the advantage at home, because we haven't lost there yet and I don't think that our team is going to underestimate Malaga like some fans do. If we go to the semifinals that would be a great achievment and then that's as far as we can go this season I think. Real in knockout stage will be a whole different thing and at that point we won't be favourites to advance anymore, no matter which team we are going to play. (Real, Barca/PSG, Bayern/Juve, I think Galatasaray is out tbh).

There is no possible home result that combines better with 1:2 away than it does with 0:0 away.
But yes, 0:0 away is a slightly bad result. 1:1 would be better.
On the other hand, if you managed to draw the other team on the road, you should win more often that not at home, no?

You would rather come away with a 1-1. But the expectation is the Dortmund will win the return leg period. I dont think drawing the next game is something that will yield anything positive for Dortmund.
They are a better team period, they choked a fair bit and the result just didnt reflect it. Ofcourse now they have to be concerned but they should still be favourites.
