This crossover title was created by the same team that made the original Battletoads. It was released 2 years later than Battletoads, which gave the developers extra time to make sure that nothing works properly. This run is going to showcase so many glitches, you will literally have a difficult time figuring out how the game was actually meant to be played.

The game's time manipulation comes into play in order to get all the puzzle pieces.

A remake of a DOS classic, Captain Comic is a game where you're sent to a planet to retrieve 3 stolen treasures. The game doesn't have any objective beyond that, so Mecha Richter takes advantage of that and abuses a bug to save a bunch of time on an already short run.

Watch the Castlevania master navigate through Dracula's castle with tough jumps, tricky damage boosts, and creative subweapon usage as he crushes the game in under 15 minutes!

The WR holder for every category in CV3 is at it again! This time will he be soaring through the game with Alucard, climbing up walls with Grant, or utilizing ice skips with Sypha? The fans will decide with donations!

Albino Mexican in Japan and inheritor of Dracula's power, Soma Cruz suddenly finds himself in Dracula's Castle during a full moon. Curious, he ditches his girlfriend during a monster attack and strolls through the castle, swiftly eliminating any monster in his path. Eventually, even walking proves too troublesome (he did climb a mountain of stairs just to get there, after all), so he opts to simply pass through the castle walls, instead, recovering the castle's most powerful weapon and cutting off the source of the castle's energy: Chaos itself. In the end, it still isn't enough to escape his girlfriend.

This is the first DS Castlevania game and the direct sequel to Aria of Sorrow. If Soma wins the bid war, viewers will have the pleasure of watching Satoryu perform many zips and other cool glitches as he demolishes all of the game's bosses in under 40 mintues. If Julius wins, romscout will play the game's alternate mode with Julius, Yoko, and Alucard in a glitchless fashion but with several speedy techniques including some unbelievably fast jump slashing. Regardless of the mode that wins, this game will provide nonstop, entertaining action for over half an hour.

Castlevania: SotN has been a speedrun classic that has appeared in every SDA marathon (and even the community marathons) so far. Fans of previous marathon runs can donate for romscout to do a spectacular glitchfest with an Alucard all bosses run that will feature even more crazy stuff than in the past, or for MechaRichter to show off some of the new techniques and tricks he's worked on (including some previously thought to be TAS-only) that have allowed the Richter all bosses run to drop under 26 minutes! Maria is also available in this donation war for the first time in marathon history. Viewers can donate for romscout to play as this Sega Saturn-exclusive character, go to a hidden area with an extra boss not found in other versions of the game, and of course show off plenty of cool speed techs and even a few version-exclusive glitches. The runners will provide a great run to watch regardless of the winning character, so get ready to see SotN destroyed like never before!

After messing up with DMC 2, Capcom made it all better with a return to stylish combat in this technical Hack and Slash. Using a multitude of clever strategies and exploiting a few over-powered moves, the game will look as difficult as a disney tie-in. Are you motivated?

Final Fantasy IX is a unique Final Fantasy in the sense its the only game that has a balanced combat system; no more reverse joker dooms, Cait Sith slots, Limits or Trio of 9999 on every boss. The game will require perfect execution if they want to be done correctly and world map encounters will end the run.

Mostly though he just spends a lot of time swimming out of bounds and using the power of his massive hammer to jump higher.

Widely regarded as the toughest of the original three NES Ninja Gaiden games, donate to see what happens when you aren't even allowed to pick anything up.

Containing a surprisingly large amount of Ninja gameplay, this speedrun turns the premise on its head by stealthily darting and dashing through every stage before dispatching bosses it's a calm and controlled manner. Bet you weren't expecting that. Come for the difficulty, stay for the style.

It's a bidding war between two of our limbless friend's greatest adventures ever. Will it be the 2011 critical hit Rayman Origins, celebrating all the finest elements of Rayman over the years, or will it be the mind-numbingly difficult original cult classic, Rayman that represents the series at AGDQ? Both are 2D platformers, and represent some of the best the genre has ever had to offer, but it's up to you to decide which game makes the cut.

Rocket Knight Adventures is a real gem on the Mega Drive. RKA races have been hugely popular at AGDQ, so here's another one. If you really bug them you may even get to see hard mode...

R&F was released in 1998 in Japan and never made it overseas. This is a unique entry in the Mega Man series because the player is given the choice to play as either Mega Man or Bass/Forte (this is also the only game in which Bass/Forte is playable), and PJ will play as whichever character raises the most money! This is a rather difficult and buggy game, making it a really fun watch.

Step into the shoes of Shadow The Hedgehog! Not remembering who he is, or the meaning of his past, Shadow steps into the midst of an alien invasion in the city of Westopolis. Will Shadow help out the citizens of Westopolis? Or will he aid the Black Arms and their leader, Black Doom in invading Earth? The choice is yours. In this speed run, the newly found Chaos Control glitch will be used which practically allows Shadow to zip past most (if not all) of the stage.

Excellent platformer with plenty of tricks. Highly enjoyable run even if you've never heard of it before. This game features a plumber tenacious youth trying to save a princess sorceress from the clutches of Bowser Ashura. It also features a unique system where beating a robot master mythical boss grants a new power.

The highest selling Sega Genesis game of all time returns for AGDQ 2013! Watch as the Australian Speedrunning Brothers sprint, spindash and zip their way to victory and eternal bragging rights!

What appears to be a harmless location full of wonders and fun as an apology for all of Eggman's past evil doings, turns out to be yet another insidious plot for world domination. Help Sonic save the enslaved alien race known as wisps from the clutches of Dr. Eggman, and put an end to any of the Doctor's evil intentions.

Sonic Generations is the ultimate celebration of the history of Sonic for his 20th anniversary. When a mysterious force starts ripping apart time and space, Modern Sonic teams up with his younger self, Classic Sonic, and the two of them race through various levels and boss fights from past Sonic games to try to fix everything and defeat the Time Eater.

Sonic the Hedgehog (2006), more commonly known as Sonic 06, is the single worst game in the entire Sonic franchise. Rushed out for the holidays, the game features countless glitches, cheap deaths, bad voice acting, and at the center of it all, an interspecies romance between the titular Sonic the Hedgehog and a human princess, Elise.

Blizzard's new campaign for Starcraft 2 is much more interesting to play than the old ones as it includes a mostly open ended mission path, choices on unit upgrades, and new, more interesting, tactics than merely "kill everything." Most notably is the inclusion of the "Brutal" difficulty which is basically Hard++. Many things have extra health, all enemy units start with upgrades and by halfway through have maxed upgrades. The difficulty level was so great that many players never finished the game on Brutal.

Raelcun, On the other hand, will blaze through the game on brutal and make it look easy. Including straight up abusive tactics, a couple instances of Ninja Zeratul, nuking objectives in under 5 minutes, and sending small armies to kill objectives that have no business ever doing so.

To anyone who is familiar with the StarCraft Universe, this should be an eye opener on what is possible.

The most intense crashing simulator since NASCAR is back for a second appearance in Awful Games Done Quick! Why are we repeating this game again? Because now hard difficulty can be donated for! Will our faithful mullet man handle the pressure? Or will invisible death pixels, spontaneous combustion, and Svin kill him?

Like the other members of the Ghosts 'n Goblins family, the player controls Arthur on his quest twice through the game to rescue Princess Prin Prin from the clutches of evil. The torch is pretty notorious for being the worst weapon in the game due to its incredibly short range and useless trajectory, but that doesn't scare PJ. It probably should, though.

An N64 game played by Siglemic, is this going to be the run? It won't be, but it'll be fucking cool.

Watch Super Mario Bros. 3, one of the most beloved Mario games, speedran without the use of lame whistles! It's a difficult game the speed through without dying to be sure, but watch it get destroyed in under an hour (or under an hour and a half for 100%)!

Somebody's actually crazy enough to do 100 super jumps in a live run? Well, cyghfer (not to be confused with McLovin) certainly is! Watch and you shall be dazzled by this, a boatload of crazy and risky strats, and much more when the longtime SMRPG runner proceeds to beat one of many people's most memorable RPG classics in a mere 3 hours.

106% is a fantastic run to watch. Breakdown uses a whole load of characters and does every single stage (including glitch girls) on the way to a 106% showcase. This will be a highlight for sure.

This year has been massive for Super Metroid. For the first time since 2007, the world record was broken and since then, it has had two minutes taken off it. For the first time at a marathon we have the world record holder for this game playing and boy will it be sweet.

Time travel corrupts those who are weaker than Jean-Claude Van Damme. The original inventor of time travel, Dr. Hans Kleindast, has declared himself dictator of the universe. With only her rubber fishing line, pink backpack and school uniform to her name, follow our heroine as she swiftly navigates through a multitude of fields being populated by various bipedal acquatic creatures, lots of spikes and photograph backgrounds. Yeah, it's that kind of game. You might want to get all your blinking in before this run starts.

Terry Cavanagh's platformer, VVVVVV, combines excellent level design with amazing music composed by Magnus "Souleye" Pålsson. With only the ability to move horizontally and flip gravity, watch as Viridian dodges over 7,600 spikes on his way to rescuing his crew members and, possibly, collecting all 20 trinkets.

Speedrunning The Wind Waker (TWW for short) was once regarded as a joke for being just sailing. In the past few months the Zelda Speedruns community have torn the game a new one. The hard work has paid off 2011's WR of 6:15~ has been slashed to 4:39. Oh and drink grandma's soup it's good for you!

I got stuck at 100kg in squat for a few weeks but yesterday I did 102.5kg 3x5 first attempt which felt good and felt way easier than any of the sets at 100kg. Press I'm super happy with my progress and bench is improving. I'm struggling to finish some sessions in time but it feels good. I'm closing in on a few goals and I'm confident I can hit most of them by January. I might not hit rows but the rest I know I can get.
