4 fatalities, all different accidents in less than 6 hours. holy shit how a day can change. that sounds dreadful. clipping and cropping fatal accident footage.

Necrons are cool but they ain't number 1. Eldar are only good if they're on the receiving end. I.E. The only good Eldar is a dead one. Tyranids are meh. Orks are cool. Loyalists and Chaos are the bee's knees. Reading Horus Heresy and Ciaphas Cain books has confirmed this for me. I share your sentiments about the Tau. Also I'm becoming increasingly convinced that MoonBear know literally everything in existence. That guy is a walking knowledge bomb. And it's awesome. I highly recommend the Eisenhorn/Ravenor series. The Bequin series will soon round out the trilogy and is ongoing. The two Grey Knight books are perty gud also. Inquisition (and Grey Knights before Matt Ward) 4 lyfe Definitely agree with Eisenhorn series. The Horus Heresy Series is also good to read, but some of it can be a bit hit and miss. If you have a favourite Chapter though (and I'm pretty sure everyone has a favourite Chapter) it's definitely worth picking up the corresponding book. The first few books that cover Garviel Loken are definitely a recommend even if you don't like the Luna Wolves/Black Legion.

Also a fan of the Legion HH book. shittons of small details you only notice on re-read, and realize that each detail potentially radically alters plot points.
I'm a sucker for the Alpha Legion. So much inception value.

The Alpha/Omega backstory is great. Also, pretty Reasonable Marines.

SINDRRIIIIIIII
METAL BAWXESSSSS
That the Word Bearer commander was more sane than the Alpha Legionnaires in DoW was kinda headscratch.

Forge World also has their own Chapters, which are pretty sick.
Space Sharks pretty top tier chapter imo.

After today I will never allow any of my friends to own motorcycles. #Notworth.

Space Sharks pretty top tier chapter imo. Red Scorpions great for people who like beakies. What impresses me the most are the Elysian Drop Troops and Krieg models they have. So gorgeous and badass omg.

All this talk makes me yearn to buy 40k models but...neither the time nor monies to afford the hobby.

Buying and assembling a basic, 500 - 1500 pt army is about the same as buying a system and a game, or building a nice PC. It's cheaper or even with a month's worth of going out to a bar. My manga collection is worth exponentially more than my 40k army.
People seem to have this impression that 40k is the most expensive hobby in the world, but honestly it's pretty comparable to anything else.

Your threshold for expensive may be higher than most for hobbies Good point regardless.

Full Foil Legacy Dredge with LED's costs 1.5 Grand. GIve or take vendor discounts and if you want your duals to be decent quality.

I already dubbed them "Cheefles" last week.
Also, guys, stahp. I already want to get into WH40K, but have no real reason/money/time to do so. Also, I don't actually know anyone who plays.

Oh, it's a MTG thing, I didn't recognize the lingo lol.
Yeah, TCGs get crazy unless you're dumb lucky or are ok playing with booster pack shit.

That's awful. Doesn't roll off the tongue at all. There's a reason no one uses pyrrhics for nouns or actions. Do you even English?

wut how do you say "cheefles?"
"Cheep" can be stressed quite naturally as a monosyllable, but when you replaced the p and leave it at "chee" with "fles" as the second syllable, it is impossible to stress the first syllable.
