I always try and use Knights because they appeal to my inner 5 year old, I just love character clad in plenty of armour. That being said, I can totally understand the argument for not using Knights. I think the only two Knight characters that I've used from any Fire Emblem game that turned out any good were Gilliam and Oswin. Gilliam was good, but Oswin was legend. Good grief. Also apparently the female knight that wears pink in Fire Emblem 6 is supposed to be good as well, but mine didn't turn out that well. I also have a huge soft spot for mercenaries and heroes. I love those classes.

(Quick glance at the wiki tells me Nephenee's better, because spears.) On June 23 2014 09:58 killerdog wrote: Mlg keeps disabling the stream because i "have adblock on"... I don't even have adblock on this browser, but I've disabled every single addon I have, and even tried internet explorer (which i never use, and has no addons or anything at all) and it still says it -.- Is there a twitch restream or anything? Was having the stream in the background while watching Alex Ich's. Suddenly lag, fan turns on, Firefox's RAM usage shoots up... yeah, that's MLG's lame-ass custom ad that you can't only mute that plays. Their player is already sub-optimal, but their ad, good grief, what a pain.

The pink knight is generally the best, shes just really really fucking hard to level, as is the case with most knights tbh, they miss often till they promote and have a hard time double hitting anything but other knights. You cant even arena them because by lvl 10~ the enemies all get Silver weapons and will kill you in a hit or two which makes them a real fucking pain if you dont get lucky. I always thought Heroes were bad tanks anyway, they get a shitload more hp, but they will double hit almost anything and usually kill them too, if they dont outright kill them in the first hit

The arena always equips you with iron weapons and most of the time the enemy will have silver, and youc ant really hoep to compete with that :0

Yeah, mercs/heroes in the GBA games are super strong without exception iirc. I actually like the idea of archers, it's a shame they are so bad at everything lol

Its hilarious when you give them a killing edge/axe or the Wo Dao on Swordmasters and have like 80% crit chance lolol.

Assassins only exist in FE7-8. Plus they are Thief promotes no Myrmidons, and in 7 there is only 1 fell contract in the game that you get from Sonja in the side mission where you get Jaffar/Nino anyway. You would only use it on Matthew anyway cause Renault/Legault(whichever his name is lolol) sucks dick. The chance of them getting the one shot is really low anyway since they have no +15/30% crit chance bonus like Swordsmasters/Berserkers anyway.

Stats-wise they're pretty weak anyway, probably to make up for the Lethality skill. Too bad because oboth thieves of FE7 are amongst my favourite characters of the game. ![]()

The problem with RD is that mobs keep spawning near the starting point and each one of those mobs can one shot my Laura. It is extremely frustrating when I can't see the danger until it is too late.

once you have more units than you have slots it's better to use healing items imo see, healers aren't op, they are op only when playing ez FE games also don't give up, I cruised through the game hard diff. npnpnp

Due to the way it works I'd have thought the Refresher was the important part (with whatever item gives him the mana necessary) so you can circumvent multi-threat teams. Also is the "godly initiation" to kill either him or the enemy cores before he can doom yours? Isn't he built pretty tanky in general? Refresher is pretty awful stats wise and requires a boatload of mana which Doom doesn't have so you don't often see people rushing it. Agh gives you everything you want(except more armour) while making the Doom spell even more potent. As for initiation it's pretty much about starting the fight on your own terms. Doom is a really good spell if you can use it on the terms that your team wants but if you have to panic Doom after being initiated the spell loses a lot of it's power. I feel Dota in general is a game all about initiation. That's partly why you see a lot of games stall out a bit even if a team has a big lead because if they get initiated on in a bad situation often times it can turn the game completely. Not sure if any of you watched NB vs DK yesterday, in the last game Banana with Enigma showed how bad initiate can completely destroy you.
