I really hate when the game gives you shit characters which make you think "maybe if I work with them, they'll turn out really good". She almost dies everytime you use her in the Hardest difficulty. On the level you get her. seriously O_o She has good luck growth I believe but lol. Everyone else on the Dawn Brigade is better. F- girl on the horse is at least useful for carrying people. And Laguz are always great meatshields untransformed (which also actually allows them to EXP, so moar exp for everyone). | ||

I always find Knights to be useless, because they are too slow and they are not actually the best walls in the game because there are a variety of stuff they are weak to. This game is a bit different though. I don't have any Cavaliers/Paladins to start with, and Ed is absolutely terrible at tanking, so Meg it is. She actually dodges pretty often, which I like. | ||

+ Show Spoiler + I finished it. The ending was very underwhelming because: 1. It was too easy. No two-stage chapter where the final boss transforms. 2. Didn't explain shit. Not very clear how Ashnard became mad, no idea who this black knight is, and: + Show Spoiler + OK I'll be honest. For a very long time I thought Ike is Ashnard's son - because they both have blue hair and I got this "hint" from Titania that Glein adopted Ike. That would make sense - Ashnard wanted his son to be strong so he set up a challenge for him... something like that. But no. It didn't turn out that way and Ike is a son of this random general who used to work for Ashnard. As far as the game is concerned, I feel it's decent (unlike Radiant Dawn which feels so hard in the earlier stages that it's making me wanting to quit). The bonus EXP system is fantastic, albeit a little broken for leveling up healers/mages. The characters are pretty interesting too. I probably like Illyna the best. Edward is awesome. Don't hate. And wtf are you complaining about. A tank? Use an unequipped Sothe (he's like a magnet for enemies, srsly). Or Nolan, he can take a few hits. Edward is pretty epic, just pair him off with Nolan for a relationship bonus to evasion and Eddy's fine. | ||
