Its just, this is ro10, and for that bo3 is just too gimmicky and weaker players with weird stuff have potential to score more upsets. Which I absolutely love in bo1 and bo3 formats otherwise, but not in a gsl "quarter final". It diminishes the importance of this stage of such a tournament. Hope they change this in next seasons.

Well, Bo5 would take forever with a Round robin format. It would take longer yes, but maybe have 2 less matches per day and add 1 more round? I am sure there would be a good way to make it a bo5 and not be too lengthy.

He massively screwed up an engagement in the middle of the map and was not reacting properly to the burrow movement roaches counter attacks losing his roach warren. Also he was just starting to finally build lurkers but in the worst possible time. Ragnarok never stopped building roaches and just caught him off guard. Very sloppy play there from Rogue he should have easily won that game to be honest.

If that makes it too many games, I would settle for bo5 for the elimination matches in the Ro6.

NOT match wins. For example, let's say Rogue goes 2-1, 2-1, 2-1, 2-1. He beats 4 players, but he's only at +4. Let's say Trap goes 2-0, 2-0, 2-0, 1-2. He beats 3 players and loses to 1, but he's at +5. Trap advances in 1st place, not Rogue. It makes sense in a way but it's strange too. Normally the idea of a Bo3 is to give you chances for the better player to win. So if Rogue wins 2-1 vs all 4 players, normally you'd say it doesn't really matter that he didn't dominate those 4 players, he still won the 4 matches which proves consistency and skill. But in this RR format, it puts a lot of emphasis on map wins and how hard you beat your opponent. It's not wrong but it's definitely interesting in that it puts weight on how hard you beat your opponent, and losing 1-2 isn't too bad since it was still a close match. I would say this way is more fun though, and since players still end up playing 4 matches in a RR, it still gives enough chances for players to perform.
