- Regular season matches are played in 3 best of two sets, determined by total map score, then by an ace match if needed. 3 points for a non-ace win, 2 for ace win.
- Round robin format.
- A Chinese player (including players from Taiwan, Hong Kong and Macau) must be included in each match's lineup.
- Current ladder season map pool.

I low-key love the Invictus Gaming vs. Team GP pairing - Chinese old-school stars vs. young Korean underdog team that brings exciting stuff every week. Of course wel also have two important high level matches with DPG vs. KZ and Alpha X vs. BSG. I like fun, so I hope we get two ace matches. | ||

I find it strange that organizers of GTC are willing to reschedule if Cure makes it out of group D but not otherwise. Both GTC and KoB are major tournaments, they should not overlap each other regardless. I hope that in the future GTC organizers will be better at announcing matches ahead of time. The regular season team lineups were often revealed with less than 24h notice. That doesn't give much time for TheOneAboveU to write the preview articles and for others to digest it. I feel that as a result a lot of potential viewers didn't tune in because they weren't reached. I don't recall what the situation was like in GSTL days. Can someone familiar with GSTL/SPL tell us what the turnaround times were like? | ||
