The Classic returns
For event number three.
Random players, rejoice
and boot up your PC.
We watched in wonder as  SKillous ascended to the throne in BGC1. We cheered alongside  Vanya as he edged out Goblin in BGC2. And now the time has come to crown a new champion of Random in Starcraft 2.
Join me on Monday, Mar 30 6:00pm GMT (GMT+00:00) for the Bald Guy Classic #3.
Bald Guy Classic #3 features open registration again, so if you'd like to showcase your prowess and take a scrap at the $50 prize pool, you can register on Challonge. Don't forget to check in 30 minutes before the tourney starts!
Speaking of the $50 prize pool, I've got some good news! Thanks to your generous donations last time, the prize pool for BGC3 is already fully funded! However, we've got more coupon codes, and there are more Bald Guy Classics to host! If we raise over $100 this time, I'll increase the prize pool of BGC4. Hit up the Matcherino page and use code (what else...) "BaldGuy3" to add some money to the pot.
One final note: as we've now established the Bald Guy Classic as a running series, this thread will serve as the updates thread for all future BGC events. Keep your eyes here for updates, VoDs, and more goodies.

Congrats to TeebuL for taking out Krystianer in the finals of Bald Guy Classic #3! It was a really great event, and I couldn't be more proud of all our brave contenders.
The Classic will continue with #4 in two weeks at a new time! BGC4 will take place on April 13th at 13:00 GMT (+00:00), so as to invite other players to participate. I'm also happy to announce that the prize pool for BGC4 will be increased to $75 total! So come one, come all.

We're changing it up for Bald Guy number 5
The money's still real and the games are still live.

Not only are we upping the prize pool, we're going to fish for new talent in the latest iteration of the Bald Guy Classic, which will be held on the Korea server! You can sign up for the Korean edition of the Bald Guy Classic on our challonge page. A new queen is crowned, as Scarlett takes a nail-biting 3-2 victory over MCanning in the Bald Guy Classic #5! Congrats to all our players in the first-ever KR edition of the classic. Check out the VoDs on my YouTube playlist if you missed any of the series'.

I do think its kinda offensive to cancel the tournament on the last minute. It's your responsibility to market the tournament so that more people signup.
You failed at your job (by looking at results) and by that you cancelled the tournament on last moment because you didn't think its good investment. It's understandable, but because you failed at the marketing you should take responsibility of your actions and let the tournament be played, even if its bad investment.
I mean now it was kinda slap in a face to the players who reserved their time to play this tournament.

Maybe a good option might be to change the format to double elimination if a minimum number of sign ups are not met (announced beforehand). I think OSC runs some tournaments this way.
