With Maru out of the tournament, does Classic get to swap players this time?
Cheering for FanTaSy to get a decent group. SpeCial too hopefully.

I never watched this until now. What are the rules?
Who gets to top groups? The ones with most points this year?

Taken from this thread about last year's season 1 group selections (please correct me if this has changed), so obviously replace 2017 with 2018:
THE RULES • The four top-ranked players from 2017 are seeded into separate groups (A-D-C-B order) • First four picks are made in order of seeding (#1 seed gets 1st pick, #2 seed gets 2nd pick, etc.) • Remaining picks in "snake draft" order starting from Group D • After all picks are made, #1 seed can swap any two non-seeded players

PartinG is back in a group nomination mfers!
Here's to hoping he crafts another group of death

So Classic, Dark, Stats and Hero are seated? Predictions for FP: Classic -> Impact Dark -> Fantasy Stats -> Special herO -> Hurricane

This group nominations will be REALLY interesting, I thin we will have a spicy ro8 in the least. Also someone asked already but does Classic get the first and last pick since Maru did an oopsie?

Yes Classic gets first pick and swap.

It's Classic, Dark, Trap, and Gumiho. Seeds after the first season are just based off of the current year so far, Season 1 and Super Tournament points only I believe.

Classic will try to avoid Zerg players in his group as many as possible especially the top-tier Zerg. In the last tournament, he just barely won against Dark & Rogue. Since he cared about qualifying first before the enlistment, this is probably the right choice to avoid risky decision. But the exception can be applied to Ragnarok who was not historically good against toss players and he will swap with other non-Zerg if Ragnarok selects the Zerg player too.
So, I guess he will pick Terran/Toss players (except Dark, Trap, and Gumiho) who he think will choose Zerg players the least in his group.
My prediction:
Classic -> Patience or Parting or Ragnarok or Special

IMO he will pick Fanta/Special or Parting

I don't see Classic picking Special.
Special eliminated him last year.

LOL. Photogenics award? What the fuck am I watching?

feels bad that the 2 foreigners arent there, could be so funny with them. Gonna be funny either way tho :D
|
Gumiho gonna be last pick! I love it!

I'm genuinely rooting for Special to get a good group, but no matter who he gets unless somehow it's all Zerg, I think he's screwed.

Honey sounds like a nickname Juanito would use

Since BW, I never liked the swap rule. Its fun but makes the #1 seed group too easy every time. Would have been perfect if he is not allowed to swap players from his group imo
