Go RagnaroK! TSL for life.
Vamos Juanito!!!! its going to be hard af tbh T_T
congrats TY on getting the NesTea award!
sOs' path to the title begins now >_>
Cobalt hype (and bizarre vetoes from sOs).
that looked like a great idea by sOs but it failed so hard
Nice to see Special get a win. Going to be tough still. Pretty cool we get a match on Cobalt.
Come on Special, do it for USA!
So far Special is playing very clean today. It's nice to see.
Seems like a good map. Pity, we probably won't see much of it
Both sides are making mistakes, but pretty enjoyable game nevertheless (or maybe even as a result).

SpeCial played really good! thos dts made me worry for a while but juanito made too much damage for sOs to recover

So far the season of upsets continues lol

On the plus side they'll really have the time to focus on the China Team Championship. Also Trap gonna win GSL this season to compensate.

sos lost that second game because he was shitting his pants with 3 colossus vs 1 siege tank and didn't come down the ramp, probably bad instinct telling him to go back after getting shot by a siege tank

Who would have ever thought we'd see BC's be this effective

That bad hold position almost cost TY the game.
The liberator was the true hero tho, poor guy gets no credit in that game
RagnaroK's response was correct on paper, but letting all his queens die to a mass repaired BC instead of continuing the Nydusing was... not great.
Yeah, seemed like Artosis/Tasteless didn't realize that all the queens were also under a liberator that they weren't attacking.
Well BC happened for RagnaroK / TY game with a lot of mis micros....

Maybe the China Team Championship pays better than GSL? Long term planning.

Maru losing was a bit fluky, but idk about the other results. Rogue just hasn't been playing well at all recently.
finally a legit game, ragnarok is playing really well considering how shafted he got in the early game
I wonder to what extent these BC openings from TY are just a way to get a quick edge against an on-paper worse opponent, and to what extent TY thinks the opening is good.
Ragnarok is playing out of his mind
coming back in with the mutas after they were in single target mode was a nice cap to that game
man TY over extended and Ragnarok did his work! anything can happen now
what a beast, ragnarok played an amazing game and its not often I praise a zerg.
I think that was the best zerg performance in the GSL so far.
the thing about the bc opening is that it kinda functions like mass phoenix in PvZ, the zerg can just make a shit ton of drones because they know that the terran won't have anything serious anytime soon, seeing 11 drones killed "for free" is not as op as it seems.

Did BC oppenning made a comeback in the last few weeks? I thought they were rotate out of the meta a while back.

The hellions and the bcs are supposed to act as a two-pronged attack, and in this game TY just lost the hellions for almost nothing. But yeah there are quite a few similarities to mass phoenix.

Not really imo. I've seen it a bit, but it's still rather fringe.

What is this season?? lmao
Cannot believe the winners match is Ragnarok vs Special in this group.
oh boy, SpeCial can advance... would this be his first time in the ro16?
Buff BCs please

Ragnarok is so legit this year, it's cool to see. It's always nice to see more zergs in Korea

laranjito realized he can play very greedy in return

Very much so. TY and SpeCial even used to be teammates on Team 8. And SpeCial has always been the player to play like the Koreans (as opposed to players who try to do their own thing).
as my granpappy always said, you can never have too many bc's
he had a net gain of like 5k resources with that cruise
Wtf was that RagnaroK. He could just have had them shoot each other.
Special showing TY how it's done. God, I love Battlecruisers so much.

TY's probably just shaking his head thinking about RagnaroK veto-ing Kairos rather than King's Cove against BCs, and wondering why it didn't happen against him.
Artosis might've cursed him -. -;
What a meta we have on our hands here.
Damn, Special misread that one big time. I thought he would clean up and that was that.
RagnaroK's execution was pretty awful, but a win's a win I guess.
Why did Special jump without clearing his base?
You can actually pinpoint the time when the Artosis curse took place.
>"Undefeated in RO32 going on to the RO16." - Artosis >Incoming Special losing out
Wow if Juanito loses here he will be kicking himself for throwing game 2
I think it was still in ragnarok's favor before the jump, the big mistake was going after the nydus and getting surrounded tbh
Real time curse from Artosis, amazing.
Also I haven't seen a reaper do this much damage vs zerg in a pro game in a long time
Funny to hear Tasteless compare BCs to early LotV adepts, and saying that zergs got "used" to defending against shades. It's true enough, but neglects the part where adepts were nerfed three times.
SpeCial getting trashed after his great start. This is like HotS TvZ with foreigner vs Korean :D
artosis curse in full effect
Ragnarok finishing in first place just like we all predicted eh?
Nice games from RagnaroK, quite impressive honestly.
Ragnarok looking good, great match
Good Ling/Bane/Muta from RagnaroK. Wonder how he'll do against someone who plays to counter his style.
Ragnarok is really good at ling bane muta
Oh god here we go. I really hope Special makes it out but we've seen this story before.

Not investing in a wall for his third was really critical. The Zerglings just had free reign.

Of course sOs would proxy in the middle.
Wait what? Why would you NOT veto Cobalt vs fucking sOs? Come on Juan!
sOs almost never loses when he hides a base. Can Special do it?!
Doing the exact same proxy against the exact same opponent on the same map. Only sOs would consider that a good mindgame.
sOs goes from cheese to ecocheese, stinky
He scv scouted the upper right base before he built the Nexus so I think special is doomed
Special's scouting today has superb. Every game he seems to have an idea what's happening and the exact timing.
Even that last BC game where he threw, he moved his marines to scout the nydus just as it popped.

in other news, my LB's are royally fucked

Eh, I fully expect them to bounce back next season, Maru in particular.
I don't know what's been up with Rogue though, he hasn't looked strong all year. sOs is being as inconsistent as ever. Creator does this thing where every season its a toss up whether or not he's a contender or a Bottom out of Ro32 player.

Juanito dumpstered SoS.
I suspect that the top of the Korean ladder must have a lot of BC rushes going on because Ragnarok was very resilient.

yeah, people gives more credit that they deserve to sOs and TY.
The "hardest group" is the most competitive group where everyone is as close as possible in skill, not merely a balanced one; if Armani, DRG, Trust and True were to play in a single group this wouldn't become the hardest.
And no, when groups like G exist there is no way group H could be the weakest; people probably overvalue sOs in LoTV, TY usually delivers(at least in groupstages).

Trap is gonna win the GSL to maintain JA honor.

Unfortunate to see sOs and TY fall, but also happy to see Ragnarok advance as an underdog.

I suspect that the top of the Korean ladder must have a lot of BC rushes going on because Ragnarok was very resilient.
Ragnarok has been quietly beasting in ZvT's in 2019
he's the dude that escaped the IEM group of death by beating gumiho and innovation, TvZ monsters
all he needs to do is beat maru

Ragnarok managed to avoid his worst matchup while Special probably thought he was at BlizzCon, this season is very unpredictable!
by faar the weakest
G was weaker, F too, D and B were similar.

Yes, even before Protoss got the upper hand against Z in Korea, Ragnarok's ZvP was dragging him down compared to his excellent ZvT and very good ZvZ.
