Weekend warriors are common (like rogue or taeja) but Maru to be the only player who's a GOAT contender in starleagues but never wins weekenders.
The other legendary starleague/proleague players (INno, soO, Zest etc) seemed to do equally well in weekenders.

He didn't really care about gsl vs the world or super tournament. He didn't even practice for them apparently and took them as a break from Code S

But i think it's harder to be consistent has terran since you have to gamble more than Protoss and Zergs. Pretty sure Protoss is the race that constantly complains about having to gamble and catch the opponent off guard....
that used to be the case but players like Stats, Neeb, Showtime etc have proved you're fine using a solid macro style over and over.

I believe they practiced to get sOs at Blizzcon. Considering the result it wasn't very wise
