I think jetlag played a lot in group stage, Rogue played really really bad against uT for example. Or Zest losing to Clem while Mana and Drogo won.
So terrans are better than protosses and zergs at dealing with jetlag? Makes sense.

KR Zerg < EU Zerg! It's sad that this isn't even that far off from reality. Too many great Zergs left the scene in Korea. Hope DRG returns to form quickly like Taeja Don't hold your breath, Taeja is four years younger. DRG actually looked pretty respectable in the Afreeca team league. I think on a good day he can still make some cool stuff happen. But yeah the Korean scene is low on Zerg. Artosis told me Leenock is totally gonna crush it next year though Inb4 Leenock actually retires next year.

Anyone who wants to argue that the T's on this tournament were better than the Z's is delusional.
You literally had 5 of the top6 zergs in the world + Elazer/Lambo, yet you end up with 1 Z(serral) in the RO8.
It's like if you had Maru Gumiho Byun Innovation Cure, and Dark leenock losira elazer lambo, and you ended up with 4 Zergs and Maru.
Hopefully Zergs can figure stuff out, but I can only imagine how fucking destroyed zerg is going to get on GSL.
User was warned for this post.
Edit: I was replying to another poster saying the T players were better because T had more KR players.

I think they probably will figure things out in time. But yeah, it's early to say but I think only zerg atm who I think could consistently beat terrans is Dark.\
Edit: And tbf, in my opinion TvZ was a bit in zerg's favour after the raven nerf so I like that they kind of turned the tables but hopefully not too significantly.

Obviously it's gonna take Zergs some time to adjust, the speed at which the Terran meta switched from tank timings to bio/mine is impressive. But I'm confident that Dark would convincingly beat any Terran in this tournament anyway.

Also, Solar lost a single series to a Terran (Innovation is actually playing well too), but he lost to two Zergs. Not much to do with balance.

Which would be Zest's place in sc2 history? Maybe the best toss despite his slumps?

Narrowly above sOs and soO in the top 7

On November 25 2018 06:25 ubikz wrote: Which would be Zest's place in sc2 history? Maybe the best toss despite his slumps? I think if Zest didn't take 2017 off he'd be clearly the greatest Protoss in SC2 history for sure. As it is I think it's kinda close because of Stats' insane consistency throughout the last few years.

It's hard to say but I think many people think he's the best protoss of all time.
