Mech play - Resource changes means mech can't keep up in eco - Cyclone: Redesigned. Lose lock on, gain solid Anti-armor weapon. - Combo with Hellion to lock enemy in their base. - Removing Tankivac - SIEGE TANK BUFFS!!! - damage increased to 70 vs armored - Won't nerf damage, will nerf rate of fire,etc if needed. Once set up, intended to be VERY strong PROTOSS: - To make mech viable, correcting Protoss late game. - Tempest: too viable due to range, new ability call Disruption Spear. Slow damage over time which is intended to make Terrans choose if to Unsiege. - Dark Templar: BLINK!!! New long research upgrade, more useful when detection is available. Not final. - Carriers: Interceptors now cost 5 minerals, not 25. Less resources to produce from Stargate. - Adept: No immediate changes, expecting Siege Tanks to counter mass Adept more. ZERG: - Ravager changed - armored and will be heavily punished by Siege Tank - Hydralisk, core unit: +1 range, will now benefit from speed boost on creep. - Infestor strengthened, all abilities can be cast while burrowed. - Infestor new ability: Deep Tunnel, "warp" to any part of the map where you have vision - DK expects Viper and Brood Lord to counter mass siege tanks in the mid and late game, more testing needed, may do more if Siege Tanks too strong. SC2: Balance test map with all changes on Tuesday, they want the community to test the changes. Changes will be made to live game at the start of new year. | ||
