It's near impossible against someone as good as Maru though. I haven't seen anyone be able to do it. Ideally the way you'd want to play against it is how HerO did it vs Polt at IEM Cologne... but that style is gone now so I don't know. | ||

I personally go for 2 robos,1 pumping observers, second pumping colossi. Lately double colossi/immortal productions, depends on how many colossi I have, but to this stage the game never got to. Basically, against someone like Maru you have to go for super turtle toss, skip upgrades and get fast storm and colossi and BIG hopes that you can survive once you chrono all the upgrades or you go full Parting and be super aggressive | ||

I think the issue with Maru's style is.. terran is a race that rewards mechanical skill more than zerg/protoss, so as mechanical skill increases it just becomes harder and harder to deal with, until finally you get a situation like MaruvP, where he's just so good at a race that rewards being good that it becomes very, very hard to win.
