Sniper, RorO and to a lesser extent jjakji are strange champions too, though I agree Seed is the weirdest so far (don't bury Classic too quickly). Roro and Sniper were pretty damn good for a decent stretch of time, jjakji still occasionally has the odd deep run. Classic will probably return from his post-GSL hangover at some stage to be a good but not great Toss too Seed had good overall results in the period of time when he won his GSL (placed high in Korean and Asian qualifiers for WCS, missed quarterfinals for the next GSL for one close game against Symbol) too. But as I said, I kinda agree he's the most "one-shot" type of GSL champion so far. I think for many of these guys it's probably hard to keep the motivation when you reach the very top as well. Even a small drop in that sense in such a rampantly competitive scene will be brutal on you. Been pondering this, best players never to win a GSL? This isn't so much in terms of all-time, but more players who looked among the very best at a period and then didn't win it. Parting when he unleashed his Templar play and looked unstoppable vT, but didn't bring it home springs to mind. Innovation1.0 losing to Soulkey is another for me. Leenock never winning a GSL too Taeja. By far the best player to never win GSL. soO MKP HAHA! Same amount of GSL finals as soO (before this one I guess), plus he actually won stuff Soo vs prime MKP, on their best day, Bo7. What happens? If it's a finals, MKP gets a free win

PartinG close contender for his consistency never to reach a finals. I think he's subsequently proven to be that consistent Code S presence and a threat at offline tournaments, but in THAT period he was in such a hot streak it really looked like he wouldn't be stopped, Mvp though
