bloody admins, it shouldn't be up to players ? When another player doesn't show up for his match, offering the other player the choice to wait (or not) is the best thing they can do. If they didn't do that, the admins would've registered an loss for Stephano automatically. You realize this, yes? No, not neccessarily. The admins are responsible for how the tournament is run, they have to decide, if and in case they do, how long they wait. The players shouldn't be responsible for choosing between what is best for them and what is best for the viewer, they have nothing to win and everything to lose with that decision. Rules are rules. I'm sure the admins waited the predetermined amount of time (which I'm fairly certain has been decided beforehand) before asking Nerchio if he wanted to wait or take the win. What you're implying is that they should show favoritism to Steph by allowing him to show up late because he's more popular. If someone had taken a walkover win off of Velego and Zerghamdi, we likely wouldn't be having this conversation. And in that case would you be willing to explain to them why they are subject to the rules while others are not? Or should we just discard all the rules? Steph knew he was playing Nerchio and didn't show up. Anybody whose ever so much as chatted to Nerch on ladder can tell you he would've take the walkover, and why shouldn't he? Steph's fault, no one else to blame. I don't see, how I am implying anything of this. The admins should enforce the rules in way, that makes sence. If a player is not there in the amout of time, which is set in the rules, disqualify him is their job, not the other players. They can, however, don't do that, if they have a good reason for that (For example, if they see the player 20 meters away from his PC sprinting towards it). Anyway, ofc they have to treat all players equally, but noone would ever disagree with that and I don't see how you are implying anything else in my original answer.
My point however was: If you disqualify a player directly, you do your job. If you ask the other player first, you make him responsable for the disqualification, which brings him animosity from the community and gives you a way to not have to do your job.

Why does it say Balloon vs San when neither of them are there though?

It is an automated program, which doesn't recognize the tournament, the games are played in, so it shows filler content as well. As soon as everyone streams DH again, it should work just fine.

Smart by Desrow to run a re-broadcast. It's especially nice since there's big chance people missed the first broadcast.

Bomber seems probably the most likely to win the tourney though, except for Protoss.

I definitely misunderstood what you were trying to say the first time.
I don't see how giving the player discretion over the decision is a bad thing. If the player is willing to wait that is, in my opinion, better than a walkover. The crowd is happy because of games and the opposing player is happy because they don't auto-lose. If the player wants, they can take a walkover. The only reason anybody is showing animosity here is because the player who didn't show up acted like a complete ass by going and attacking his opponent on twitter. Imo, unless you aren't to bright, Steph clearly in the wrong here for not showing up to the match and expecting his opponent to wait for him. He would've lost if it wasn't up to player discretion, and he still would've found a way to complain.
Drama happens no matter what, ESPECIALLY with Stephano.
