this is also true, but I still think making Time Warp an upgrade at Twilight Council would solve a lot of problems with Blink. It still makes Blink strong, but not undefendable, and if you want TW with your Blink attack you just need to get an extra TC and upgrade both at the same time, which will make you have less stalkers and slow down the timing, or just go without it which will make the attack less strong. And it still allows them to have it for the late game and keep PO for defense. Just a suggestion but I'm not a pro so Blizzard won't listen to me

No matter how bad my dislike of the state of Protoss gets, I just CANNOT dislike Liquid_Hero

I think it's worse now because the Protoss strategies that people are complaining about are difficult to scout, there's several possibilities so you can't prepare for all of them, and sometimes even if you scout them they're impossible to hold on certain maps. Kind of like Parting's old soul train but now every Protoss can do it against any Terran. Brood Lord Infestor at least you could stop before it got to that point, and Terran dominance never felt like it was due to any specific build or strategy (except really early shit like BBS and 1-1-1s that got nerfed into the ground, and people were just worse in general back then anyway).

The term "patch_insertRace" was basically forged during BL-INF.
Yeah it was not bad at all...

Nah you're imagining things ;D I just think mods were more effective at shutting down LR insurrections back during BL-infestor times. But goddamn thank god that zerg dominance era is over...

except that if this was a fan favorite, or mixed finals, it would get great viewership... so it doesnt technically worsen it either.

Not really. He got his Bunkers and Marauders up after he scanned the allin. There is really nothing else he can do. And don't say sensor towers or I will punch you through your monitor.

I disagree, bl/infestor was worse because blizzard did nothing to change it for 7-8+ months and even when they changed it, it was still ridiculously overpowered.
Let me know when there's a thread like this for hots protoss

Hardcore Protoss players may feel otherwise, but the hate vs Terran and Zerg was just as bad. Hell even a TL admin was bitching about Zerg on twitter at the time of BL/Infestor. well, nowadays even casters hate protoss (more than one time said in this tournament and artosis famous quote "a bullet in starcrafts head would be better than 15 protoss in the gsl ro16"), so i think this is way worse than the hate against terran and zerg back in their respective days.

But..but.. im a fan! No, i understand. I am watching from home mostly, this way i can get mad and noone else has to care I hate those people going into the stadium and when their team looses they go and try to start a fight with the fans from the other team
That's nothing. We got ST's and Primers fighting even if no one on their rosters are playing.

Reworking the maps is probably the easiest solution. Everything else will have some effect on other match ups. If not maps, maybe a higher research time on blink? But that would affect PvP.
But at the end of the day, if Blizzard still thinks blink is too good, they won't care how it will affect other match ups. The immortal range buff changed PvZ and they still did it.

Yeah actually, it was definitely just as bad in BL/Infestor. There haven't been nearly as many people called PatchTosses as PatchZergs.
