I am so happy that Hydra and herO in finals, yesterday when looking at brackets my wish was that Hydra and herO advanced to the main event I really hope they both can advance but the lower bracket opponent will be very strong to defeat

This invite-based qualifier system is such unfair BS. -.- It makes me sick to the stomach every time an IEM comes up. WHY would you invite Revival and Oz? Dat EG money... It only helps the popular players get more popular and completely fucks up the unknown players which surpass these popular players in skill by so much. Do Oz/Revival really need even more free popularity and money? NO!

i think oz and revival are differently minded on this topic.

(P)herO[jOin] and (Z)Hydra are so fucking good. It's like 3 qualifiers in a row I watched them just getting through hell and a hard place in Korean qualifiers, always getting so close... Glad at least one of them is now set for IEM Singapore and hope also the second one will qualify!

It sucks either way. WCS points are not a representation of skill and both of you know that.

Who said that invites have to be given out according to skill? If anything skill is not a clearly definable measurement

Revival fell into the loser bracket after reaching the semis of the qualifier. I'd say he's doing alright for someone who doesn't deserve to be here. -_-

It'd be so much better if photon overcharge would cost 125 or 150 mana, that way you couldnt just stop 30 supply of units with 2 clicks

Good decision making by hero though, most Protoss would probably bring the core for time warp and not leave it at home

You seemed to forget how terrible it was last years when MLG and IEM invited a bunch of star players straight into the main event without having qualifiers.

I am still not fine with these invites but it is better then it was last years.

I really hate when guys like herO, Hydra, Solar and Check made it to the semis and finals of almost every prelims and still did not attend any major event...
