We admit it would have been better to write this thread earlier, for fans who wants to wake up and watch. But in term of players registration, it does not matter much.

kind of sucks for FXO and ST players but I guess they still have tomorrow's qualifier

I guess Innovation, MMA, Soulkey, Dear, etc. were invited directly to stage 2? Don't see any of them in the list of notable participants.

Being consistent doesn't mean win everything. But losing to a non championship contender 0-2 in the first round of a qualifier doesn't exactly spell out "consistency" either

This invite-based qualifier system is such unfair BS. -.- It makes me sick to the stomach every time an IEM comes up. WHY would you invite Revival and Oz? Dat EG money... It only helps the popular players get more popular and completely fucks up the unknown players which surpass these popular players in skill by so much. Do Oz/Revival really need even more free popularity and money? NO!

Who said that invites have to be given out according to skill? If anything skill is not a clearly definable measurement

I sort of hate every matchup were no T is involved :D

It'd be so much better if photon overcharge would cost 125 or 150 mana, that way you couldnt just stop 30 supply of units with 2 clicks
Good decision making by hero though, most Protoss would probably bring the core for time warp and not leave it at home

You would imagine Maru could actually dodge storms with all the micro he can do >.<
Props to Rain, i like how he is forcing Marus attention away to land the storm, but that shouldnt work like 10 times on this level..

I'm not sure, but there are only 8 players from this qualifiers. I dont know where the rest are coming from but i assume invites/open bracket? If yes, he might still be there

Nice break music by ESL btw <3

Maru's TvP just isn't the real thing TBH, many misjudgements and that awful engagement @ Rain's 3rd... But the matchup just is so dull... Either 1-base "guess what" or 200/200 timing from P

4 players from open brackets and 4 players based on WCS points still coming.
So maybe Maru can still go there.

Actually, you can sit back in ZvP, but you have to go swarm host/viper/infestor/brood lord with 80 or so spines and spores. It also has the added benefit of being super exciting.

Yeah only SH/Viper/spore has a chance against this, should've transitioned into that. On the other hand it sucks on Whirlwind, so I'm not sure if he ever had a once Rain had his 4 bases and the deathball.
