I was talking to the guy who thought Heart did an early GG in game one, I doubt he knows that term.

That guy hasn't a clue about anything.

He was 110 food down. That was a stupid waste of time. There was absolutely no way for him to win.
EDIT: the one time to do that is in a deciding game.

if the game isn't exciting it's because sometimes starcraft just isn't exciting to watch, you can't blame professionals with advanced knowledge of the game for not making it exciting with impossible nonexistent miracle micro

When I watch MOBA games, they fight to the very end every time. Some of these GG timings almost feel like ladder ragequits. to not waste time making people watch games that are over already and to respect their opponents' ability to close out won games heart was barely even mining and he was down like 50 supply This is why great comebacks never happen in SC. Nobody ever tries to do the impossible. Comebacks always happen in SC. Every Polt game this season was a comeback. Mvp vs Squirtle g7 was a comeback. g4 Leenock vs Life. Mvp vs Innovation g2. Hack vs Roro. MC vs Inca. Parting vs Soulkey. Parting vs Roro. Thorzain vs Naniwa g7. Thorzain vs MC g4. Nestea vs SC. Nestea vs Top g1 and g2. I could go on, but I hope you get the point. I get the point, but most of the comebacks in SC2 are from minor setbacks or positional disadvantages. Is it really proven IMPOSSIBLE for Heart to comeback form the situation he was in? I always feel that Terran is the race that has by far the most comeback potential and shouldn't early GG.
Well the biggest reason why Moba people don't gg early is because they are a team of 5. People that like to fight to the bitter end are usuable people that really get upset about early ggs. So only need one of those on the team. Also Dota style Mobas have build in comeback chance preferable at the end. And losing will only buff your opponent not put you back into stone age. Would be like you get resources back if your units die in Sc2.
Anyway it is okay in strategy games to drop out early. You can't forget if your opponent gets a huge advantage they can enter eco mode. Means while you concentrate yourself like crazy they will only try to expand and pressure you. In the end you will get more exhausted and they get rested. In Mobas this is not the as much the case.

Scheduler thought this was WoL so he expected Heart to 1-1-1 every game.

there's nothing wrong with playing out the last engagement if you aren't sure how far you're behind, but the whole "NEVER GIVE UP NEVER SURRENDER" thing is just what fans want to see to make the game exciting. unfortunately it goes against reality

sometimes listening to gretorp is like reading random theorycrafting in balance threads

Name one pro game where someone has come back from a 110+ food disadvantage.
I'm not even saying Hero should absolutely have GGd, I'm just saying that the game was pretty much over at that point. There are some good reasons for staying in a lost game, like thinking about a strategy for the following one.

Units in production count as part of supply.

Goswser as a caster is the main reason i have to watch these games on mute. This is terrible.
