Comebacks always happen in SC. Every Polt game this season was a comeback. Mvp vs Squirtle g7 was a comeback. g4 Leenock vs Life. Mvp vs Innovation g2. Hack vs Roro. MC vs Inca. Parting vs Soulkey. Parting vs Roro. Thorzain vs Naniwa g7. Thorzain vs MC g4. Nestea vs SC. Nestea vs Top g1 and g2. I could go on, but I hope you get the point.

Baseball is pretty huge in Japan and Korea.

at this level of play, no one will let you back into a game like that. the game design of sc2 with how economy works doesn't allow for miracles (except with mules, really). plus, you could easily argue the drop that got feedbacked half a second before the GG WAS his attempt to do the impossible and work from behind, so he was doing exactl what you're saying and giving it his best shot. the game died with those medivacs

I get the point, but most of the comebacks in SC2 are from minor setbacks or positional disadvantages. Is it really proven IMPOSSIBLE for Heart to comeback form the situation he was in? I always feel that Terran is the race that has by far the most comeback potential and shouldn't early GG.

He had no economy to come back with, and hadn't done any damage to his opponent.
It's possible to come back from losing half of your workers if you've also done some damage to your opponent, or vice versa.
TL;DR - it wasn't an "early GG".

My opinion is different, I think Terran has the worst comeback potential of the three races (But it comes down to preference. I think mutas/ HTS/DTS/Blink stalkers /Lings/infestors are superior to terran units in a comeback situation.). And here I go explaining each of the massive comebacks of each of these games.
Mvp vs Squirtle down 12 to 26 supply. Leenovk vs Life Down 1 base and 10 infestors and 30 supply. Mvp vs Innovation. Down 60 supply and 30 scvs. Hack vs Roro. Infestor BL against 3 base Terran on 50 supply. MC vs Inca 3 gate vs 4 gate on TDA. Parting vs Soulkey - Down 50 supply. Parting vs vs Soulkey- Down 60 supply. Thorzain VS Naniwa - Lost mining on natural and bad positions TDA. Thorzain vs MC - far behind in every aspect, but equalizes game with superior tactics and ghost cloak. Nestea vs SC - Do I have to explain this one? Nestea vs top - down 80 supply. Nestea vs top - down 100 supply.

Now this is a ridiculously late GG.

Nah I thought this was the perfect time to GG. You should GG when your natural/main is broken (unless a base trade is going on) and your army is dead. Every player should do this.
