You're saying muta doesn't have defenders advantage? The faster reinforcements is still there plus you have queens and spores.

Pretty bummed about HerO . I guess I'm happy about the other advancements though.

they often do and i'm sure people can reply to this and point out examples of this in every game that has been cast. it's not the focus of any caster (except maybe tasteless, who is the most noob friendly in GSL, you might like him, although he does joke around a TON, so maybe he would raise your ire too).
the thing is, you're whinging for more explanations on an elite gaming website in a niche live report thread which has the most die hard fans of the game posting in it who generally participate in the highest level of meta-discussion of the finals of the most stacked international open tournament we've perhaps ever seen. can you see where i'm going with this?

One of the things Day9 talked about in his dailies is trying to cater to everyone, the people who know only the basics of SC2 should find some sort of information to glean from the casts without boring the guys like us who know what's going on from the production tab. You can't get 100% and each caster finds his own way of catering to as many as they can. But what everyone can relate to is shitty jokes ^_^
Is that what he is trying nowadays? I remember that dailies were used to be him going into extreme nuances of the game in terms of build, timing, and decisions.

Surprised ForGG beat Hyun with his TvZ. Wish Avenge had pulled through and beaten MMA, but I also like to see MMA coming back.

The casters are calling out games way to fast. They often don't even wait for an attack to hit and already say "I don't see any way from him holding this. XX won this."
Game 3 between Jaedong and sOs was already called out by the caster as unwinnable for sOs after the baneling bust was about to hit unscouted. Casters talked like there is no way sOs can hold it with the stargate.
Game 1 between Nerchio and Life was so often called as win for Life. Pretty much every engage until the last one Nerchio won i just heard how good life does it in what excellent shape he is and that he will win.
Elfi vs Stardust where Elfi pulls the probes. Casters talked before the attack only about how it will fail and StarDust will win the game.
And there are more examples. I mean they just miss out on so much hype. It would be way better to stop calling out games before engagements and just saying it favours someone, but this constantly "there is no way he is gonna hold" "with this he will win the game" is annoying and takes away the hype :/
Just because one got the bigger or better army it is no autowin. It still depends on the last fight.

No more Zerg for Life to meet - he's gonna win this tournament :-P

Even in the dailies he would say things like "X player is messing up, he hasn't produced enough drones" in a way that implies to people who might not understand everything in the commentary that you should constantly produce drones.
