Blinding cloud is really strong against tanks, and every time I am like "Why don't I marine/tanks in TvZ anymore" blinding cloud is like "this is why". I am just a plat level scrub though, so maybe tanks are really effective still at higher level play when you have more speed to unsiege/siege them more often and split marines better and whatnot. Just my 2 cents on the debate. well i mean, marine tank is good vs roach/hydra comps, since WMs are garbage vs those. but really you can't let them get vipers.
Yeah and I realized after I posted that the main talking point is tanks early to calm the roach baneling all-ins. But I guess what I am saying is if you marine/tank it's going to mostly be defense oriented, making it harder to stop the "don't let them get vipers" battle plan. I dunno, I am not the one to look towards for answers in this time of roach baneling madness. I'm just gonna abuse hellbat drop every game and hope I win in the first 10 minutes.

Macro games against terran are just so ridiculous with hellbats/mines. Mines act as an insane equalizer and for their cost they do so much versus zerg. I don't really know what the answer is because it seems like ZvP and TvP are pretty balanced and I don't know what changes they can make that won't destroy those match ups. That's a great idea! The zergs have won 5 GSLs in a row. They have 14 players in Code-S/Premier KR for the third time in a row. The terran is at all-time low with just 8 Code-S players. Last GSL they won was in May 2012, over a year ago. Let's nerf terran! :D Pshhhh.. get outa here with your statisticals and fancy jargon! The fact that Zergs have won a bunch of GSLs in a row isn't stats. It is just irrelevant information especially given that 4 of those were in WOL. Also if balance could be determined by how many players of that race were in Code S then Terran must have been OP for 3/4 of WOL. According to the community and based on which races got nerfs, they were... discussing balance in LR thread.. I'm just gonna stop here. When there was an abundance of GSL Terrans it was conclusive proof of imbalance. Now that Zerg has dominated the Korean scene for months on end GSL stats are "irrelevant information". lol Yes, because that was in WOL, how do you not understand this lol?
I understand this... what do you not understand? It's not like we transitioned from BW to SC2... it's a continuation of the same game...

Maybe, I didn't think he would even get this far before WCS so getting to the ro8 and winning another championship is amazing +so many WCS points.
And he might win, maybe

well this sucks. Teamkill for 2nd ;;
Even though I want Losira to win more, I think I'd rather cheer for MVP simply because I'd trust him more than Losira to go far.
ro32-ro16 MVP and ro8+ MVP is like the difference between super saiyan and super saiyan 3

Just logged back in. How long until MvP vs Losira?

I hope so, but Mvp has proven vulnerable to those types of things in the past. Frankly, just building tanks before mines would probably be sufficient, and then switch into full-on mine when tunneling claws is being researched. This would slow down bio upgrades and/or medivac production, but the fact that standard bio-mine play allows those to come out so early is part of why it's so incredibly strong if the Zerg doesn't try to punish it.

Plus he is smarter then most Terrans and won't die to all ins 3 games in a row (Bomber -_-).
I don't think soulkey would all in vs mvp, he would just play macro and crush.

Yeah i'm sure it's possible against zergs that float 800/400 at 61 supply and 8 minutes while on ~40 drones
Not against zergs that know how to macro though.

Or is it because Mines do more splash damage for cheaper both in terms of cost and supply at the most crucial time of an engagement (the beginning)? The only reason they dont cost more is because of that timer, but their damage is so heavily front loaded that the timer doesnt matter in a lot of engagements.
