I don't know why people mix both of them. Cheese rely on your opponent not scouting it and exploiting the current metagame. Often a cheese build can be all innish, to kill outright the opponent. But a greedy build can be cheese too (like that gumiho build going 3 CC's with nothing to hold a bust/roach pressure to cut corners and pump a massive scv production). Gumiho got metagamed, props to Jaedong. | ||

GuMiHos economy would boost signiciantly ahead and his tech already was ahead. If you potentially lose your 2 reapers you are behind, but not as much because the followup are hellions and they allow you to keep map control and pressure up. You don't need to deal damage with reapers, you just need to keep them and pressure.
