The best player being way better than all the other players doesn't mean that the matchup is perfect.

It's not necessarily imbalanced either, best just give it time to sort itself out and Zergs will learn the timings and how to defend better, as well as utilize the new meta to their advantage.

Number 3 is maybe right this time but if you honestly think zerg was ok in WOL launch you are crazy.

Yeh I don;t agree that any matchup is imbalanced I was just commenting that a visionary came along and changed the way the race was played

WTF?! Hyun didnt beat Polt in IPL Fight club? Nerchio and Slivko didn't beat Lucifron? Violet didn't beat Sting? Ret didn't beat Kas and Sting? Killer didn't beat Thorzain? Get out of here with that stuff man. There is virtually no empirical evidence that suggests z is struggling vs t, except blind cries and foreigners losing to koreans.

We've all discussed and seen medivac boost discussion on making it energy based, or a longer cool down time. But, everyone has so many options now for air, ground etc... MC showed how great toss can be etc.... I really came away from that tourney satisfied unlike the last 5 tourneys in WoL where I was screaming "zerg = op". Now, I think we have some balance and minor tweaking may be needed, but lets wait and see. That tourney showed the best man won - Life is truly amazing. GG, congrats.

Now, I think we have some balance and minor tweaking may be needed, but lets wait and see. That tourney showed the best man won - Life is truly amazing. GG, congrats. Two things, 1) I think it's absurd to claim that Zerg has a higher skill ceiling than Terran. Almost every Terran unit is incredibly micro-intensive and Terran's macro is much more difficult than the other two races. 2) Just because a skill ceiling is higher doesn't mean that it's balanced. If we take your assumption and say that Zerg does have a significantly higher skill ceiling, if it's that much more difficult to actually play Zerg at the same level as the other races, then it's imbalanced, due to the fact that it's much harder to have the same amount of success with Zerg. As Blizzard's already mentioned that they know that Medivac boost is too strong, I really think that all that needs to be done is that it costs energy + a slight cooldown increase. Once that is done, then Terran can actually be punished for having Medivacs out of position, and then there will be some actually risk in the risk-reward dichotomy of Medivac drops. As a side note, was anyone concerned with the fact that we really saw nothing new from Zerg? We saw a ton of Mothership Core + Oracle as well as Hellbats + Widow Mines + Medivac boosts, but we saw a little bit of the Viper and really none of the Swarm Host (to my recollection). The only difference I noticed was that we saw more Hydra Roach, since Hydras get that speed upgrade now. Granted, I didn't watch everything this weekend, but still.
